facts on china

it is not possible to buy anything authentic, this includes everything!
never pay via western union money gram etc the money can never be traced and this payment method indicates scam (worldwide not just china).

you can buy electronics from china, these are generally of a sub standard.
EVERYTHING that says it is genuine etc is at best a good copy, you have to remember that a high percentage of big brands are made in china so they have easy access to the genuine facias etc.
So you could have a phone with genuine apple phone case but the inside is inferior chinese products.

Any way without going on, stay clear of branded items from china and in all honesty i would choose something different to electronics.
There is very little money to be made in a heavily saturated market.

Can't really add anything much more to what Paul has said. He's spot on when he says that you can't purchase authentic branded items from China, no matter what they are, they will be fakes.

In regards to payment options, a scammers payment option of choice is a money transfer as once you've sent it, you have no way of getting it back!

Stay well clear of 300 dollar iPhone 4's!

Hi and welcome to SaleHoo, dug1701!

If you search throughout the forum, you'll learn to be wary of Chinese suppliers especially if you're after branded items as most branded goods that come from China are either replicas or fakes.

And they're right (Paul and Marc). Do not take the risk of paying a new supplier with wire transfer or Western Union. You will not be able to get your money back if they turn out to be fraudulent.

Actually, a lot of our members are very interested in sourcing Apple iPhones, iPods and the iPad too because they are extremely popular. Unfortunately, the requirements to source these wholesale are extremely high due to Apple’s desire to protect their brand value. If you want to source these items wholesale, you’ll need to fill out an application on Apple’s website and be able to meet a minimum annual purchase requirement of more than $100,000 and provide 2 business references – among other things. You can read the full requirements here:

Although there is no other way to legitimately source Apple iPhones, iPods and the iPad wholesale except through Apple themselves, you can source Apple accessories from a number of wholesalers and drop shippers. Here is a list of a few SaleHoo suppliers for Apple accessories:

Don’t forget you need to find the Wholesale section on these supplier’s websites and either fill out an application form or contact them directly to get wholesale prices.

The other option to source Apple products is via liquidators. Liquidators can legitimately resell iPods, iPhones etc, though Apple won’t honor the warranty for products sourced this way.

Some liquidators of Apple products in our directory are:
