Lingerie Mart - who has dealt with them?

Hi,

Who has dealt with Lingerie Mart before and what were your experiences with them?
The reason why I asked is because I have ordered and paid an item over a month ago to test them before doing a big order. Despite emails I have never heard from them...

That is extremely unsual for Lingerie Mart -- I'm interested to see how this plays out. Been a customer of theirs since 1998.

Hi Frank,

Like you, we were just as surprised. I'm still waiting for Steven Rapp of Lingerie Mart to reply to my follow up email. I still have no confirmation (from both Lingerie mart and plusev) if the issue has been resolved.

I do hope it has been resolved. But I will update the thread once I get a reply :)

Hi Richelle,

As suggested I have emailed Steven on the 3rd of November with my issue but untill now I still had ne response from lingerie mart. I think that will explain aswell why you have not received any update from them.

I am lucky I have not made any large purchase with this company and decided to test them first!

@ Frank, unfortunately companies can change over the years.... Have you done any orders recently?

Hi Frank,

I live in a different timezone so calling is not always possible.

Than again a proffesional company should reply on a customers email....I would think that I should get at least 1 reply on one of the 5 emails I have sent to sales@lingeriemart.com . My order was placed and paid on the 26th of september, thats 6 weeks now.
I also emailed Steven Rapp as suggested but unfortunately nothing back.

I understand the trouble with timezones but calling will often give a faster resolution to your issue :) I also live in a different time zone myself but if I can I will try to call the supplier.

Hopefully you can get in touch with them soon so they can ship you order for you.

Thanks for your pm Richelle.

But I think I should share with the people here that it is very unproffesional the way lingeriemart works.

First of all, they acknowledge they have received my emails but they dont respond to it? I am trying to imagine how does that work for a company?
I have paid for my item so I am a customer.

Secondly, my order was done from Europe and not from Africa as they thought it was which should not matter in the first place (I was shocked to read they dont know the difference between Africa and Europe)! Even if an order is done through Africa does it mean they dont have to respond to it? Very confused here... So it it is ok to receive payment from anywhere but there is a selection on the countries they would follow up on?
In Europe I could report this and this would have very bad consequences for the company (actually I will still check if there is a law about that in international trading).

This is what their website quote:
"Lingerie Mart has been shipping international since 1997. We are the experienced experts in shipping abroad. We process and will provide all required invoicing and documents required by each country as this saves you money verses hiring an outside agent or broker at your destination"

I dont know what the companies value is based on but I would like to hear from someone who has ordered from lingeriemart and is based in another part of the world.
