Hello,

I was looking around mkenterprise.com since they seem to have an outstanding reputation, and noticed that their shipping prices are a lot. An Xbox 360 platinum edition costs $339.74, which isn't bad at all, but the shipping in USD is $91.72 through United Parcel Service. So you would end up paying around $430 USD for an item that is only worth $400 USD. I was wondering if anyone who has ever dealt with this company can explain how they managed to make profit when they are paying such high shipping costs, or if you get a better price once you pay for the drop-shipping membership?

Thanks.

If your talking about UPS shipping from china to the US the shipping is correct. And they arent paying the shipping costs. The consumer is paying. If you order more then 1 then shipping goes down as combined shipments.

Well has anyone who deals with them had any trouble with sales since shipping is so much?

I'm still GREEN on this stuff, but using simple math, they have great prices, but the shipping kills the deal.

I know someone has to pay, but, I would suggest maybe calling and trying to work a deal for the serious buyer.

Just a thought

Well its just like any supplier. You have to research prices and more to find the best possible deal for yourself. Mk has proven its worth but you may have to evaluate the price to aquire vs the price you think you can sell that said item.

Hmm, Its possible that your items have been delayed by customs. This happens on occasion with items I ship to Austrailia and Denmark.
Keep us apprised on the situation.

Mk has had very high marks from members of salehoo for very fast delivery of items for over a year now.

I sent funds more than a week ago via Wire Transfer $1250 to be exact. They told me to wait 1-3 days, i have sent SEVERAL emails and made SEVERAL long distance calls. They do respond and tell me they will update my account with the funds but they still haven't. I don't see why they are so slow, but, i will update everyone once i get the funds. They seem reliable, but i guess i'm just gettin unlucky!

Well my first (and only) experience with them was good. Got my shipment in 5 days. Jimmy is correct re shipping. Try adding different Qtys to your cart to analyse the change in shipping. In some cases there's not a huge saving, but in others it can really cut down the costs.

Instead of being so ' re-active' you may want to consider being pro-active.

This site is mearly a vehicle to do research and share experience to 'HELP' you make a decision on a purchase. Case in piont, without this site, you would have 1. Never found a boat load of the suppliers that you have access to now and 2. if you did find them, you would have rolled the dice on a purchase- blind.

So, technically, this site has made a possitive impact on your decision, thus possibly saving you money.

Now, moving forward, ALL last week for the eastern part of the world was Holiday. It's their Memorial Day week/Celebration.
This could have contributed to the delay.

My guess is thats whats going on with this supplier. But I could be wrong. For all we know, this supplier closed up shop and took their money.

I think not:

Positive

Optimistic

Patience

thank you for answer, as i can see by the ammount of posts you make you yourself are new to this site.

I am however curious how much research you have been doing since been here.

i think the concept of salehoo is absolutley brilliant a place for people to discuss and find good suppliers.

BUT the list of suppliers that is on salehoo does not reflect what the people are saying in the forums to a very large degree and thats the point im trying to make.

as a potential supplier to Salehoo members , suppliers should meet there obligations as a supplier and superceade them.

ok so 5 people have an amazing feedback on a supplier and the other two people dont. why is that ?

Suppliers should constantly give good service and strive to look after there customers.

However These two clients should also be placing negative feedback on this particular supplier so it reflects the poor service they have been getting sa well.

i dont have the answers but when i read a forum and 2 people are literally crying because they have lost thousands of dollars and its taken over a month and they have heard nothing back i feel for them as i know exactely how they are feeling.

I am very Re-active because i have lost 10 of thousands of dollars dealing with dodge suppliers in lost revenues and initial outlay of cash.

but am however here to try to find a few decent suppliers but so far have come up empty handed each time because of the negative feedback i am seeying in the forums reflecting the Service recieved by other clients as well for various larger Suppliers

so its pretty damn hard, let me know when you find that dream supplier and ill stop bieng re-active.
