Hi everybody

I'm really new to all of this so i kind of need some of advice.

I was finally able to find one good supplier, well seems like to me. There from the UK, gave me there full address with phone number and company reg number which all checked out okay. But What i want to know is that for some reason all of the suppliers i seem to find don't accept Paypal around the UK, well for the IPhone suppliers. And i want to know if anybody is having the same problem as me?? It's western union or Money Gram. No Paypal!! For IPhone suppliers in the UK. And I'm not talking about a supplier that will sell you the Iphone 3GS 32GB Unlocked for 900$ like we seem to only have in the Salehoo directory, which is really kinda sad that we don't have better suppliers by now. Any how is anybody having the same problem as I'm? Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Thank You

Hi sweet_girl56

The two payment methods you have mentioned are the two riskiest methods when trading with any company, and two that we recommend never using straight off. They offer you absolutely no protection of getting a refund on your payment should you have any problems, and are the two most favoured by scammers because of it!

You say that this company is based in the UK?

There is absolutely no reason for any legitimate company based in the UK not to offer payment options such as PayPal and credit card processing that I can possibly think of, and if I were you I would be asking why they don't.

If you would like to give us their name and URL we'll try and find out what we can about them, you can PM if you prefer to keep that information private.

I have to say on the face of it seems to have SCAM written all over it. Especially considering the payment options offered and the fact that you indicate the price seems to be cheap as well.

[b]Thanks for responding so fast Fudjj.

They don't have any website, they advertised on A LOT! on websites tho that's how i got a hold of them. And this is what i have as info, it would help me a lot if anybody thinks they are scammers. I haven't placed an order yet as i thought also without credit cards or paypal i didn't have any protection. So this is the info i have on them:

[color=#000000]MALCOMMS LIMITED.

Registered No.SC285341
RANNACHAN, MURRAY DRIVE, CRIEFF, PERTHSHIRE, PH7 3DG
Tel: +447024024757

Email:Malcom_phonesltd@hotmail.com
Email:Malcom_phonesltd@sifymail.com

MALCOMMS LIMITED is a specialized supplier of Mobile phones (GSM PHONES), Video Games , Apple Ipods,Iphone , Laptops and Games.

They sent me a list price of everything they have, i wont post it sense it's so long. But if anybody know something, like i said they don't have a website they just advertise on them ALOT!.

Thank You, Thank You
This really helps me.

If you are serious about getting into this business spend the thousand or so to purchase a ticket and fly to their headquarters. Tell them this. Say you will be doing a lot of business with them and want to check out their operation.

If they are legit, they will respond. If they do, call them and ask for some good hotels in the area. Try and speak with their sales manager. Tell him you would like to meet for lunch. Chat him up.

My guess is they will ignore you because they run a two bit office out of a cellar somewhere.

But if not you get yourself a great lead and will start making some good coin.

Hi sweet_girl56,

When I did a Google search using their company details, I was able to pull up tons of ads in different regions and countries. As previously pointed, this is a scam and we strongly advise against dealing with them.

Cheers,

I can't find that much on the name at all. I've seen some conflicting results, one indication that they have been in business since 2005 and the other indicating 2009!

Nothing about it smells right to me, as you have said, I've found quite a lot of marketing that they have been doing spread all over the place, but far too many alarm bells ringing for me.

Not even a website, that's just completely bizarre for anyone in this type of business. Found a linkedin profile under the trading name, some Dr Malcom Bell involved in the Real Estate game lol

I think Planes may have summed this one up pretty well, two bit operation at best, complete scam at worst. I mean even good scammers have websites these days, something not smelling right about this supplier in my opinion!

Thank You very much everybody for your advice and help on this one. I really appreciate it, and i think it's a scam also after what you all said.

Oh and Fudjj that's a good question, 'Why aren't they using Paypal?'. I'll ask them that one.

Thank You And Have a Wonderful Afternoon!
