Has anyone bought pallets from sites like Link hidden: Login to view? If so can you tell me about them? Any good reports, or bad?

Just be careful. Lots of times when you buy these pallets about 40% of it is nothing but junk.

Make sure you are buying at a very good price. You want the price to be a fraction of wholesale price not retail price. That way if you get alot of junk you will still have profitable items to sell.

I have bought pallets before and found an average 70/30 split of good vs junk.

I have used TDW for pallets and one container order. Good service, and there will be some junk on board, especially in electronics and clothing. You have to understand that when buying large quantities of pulls and overstocks at a huge discount, the suppliers are not letting you cherry pick through and get the best out of each lot for your pallet.

As far I as know, TDW is 100% honest on their retailing policy. They do zero cherry picking, zero ebay sales or outlet sales, and pass through everything they get -- which is how a bulk operator should do.

I don't know if their claim that 'all other pallet sellers buy from TDW' is true, but I can say I have bought electronic pallets off of both eBay and Surplus.net that were definitely sourced from TDW (based on items on the pallets vs. offers I had just recently seen in TDW's newsletter.)

Short version is, I do recommend them but you have to be prepared for genuine bulk pulls and overstocks, which means you're going to find some items in every load that would get rejected by Goodwill.

i have thought about purchasing some pallets from tdw but I dont like the idea that they wont accept credit cards. They told me they accept money orders or certified checks. That way if you dont get your merchandise there is really no recourse. Or if there is it will be expensive and time consuming process.

These companies are legit and you will get your merchandise. They refer you right to the trucking company handling your shipments. The reason they do not let you pay by credit card is because there are too many noobies to this type of market.

Many inexperiences ebayers buy from these companies expecting everything to be beautiful and perfectly stacked on pallets. When they get a bunker pallet packed with a ton of stuff including damaged goods they immediately freak and say they got a pallet or truckload of garbage. Then they immediately file a charge back against the merchant. Fighting a frivolous charge back is time consuming and costly for a merchant.

Most people dont realize that when your buying into liquidations your basically buying items with damaged goods and customer returns or stuff just tosed into bunkers because the packaging was damaged.

When you actually go through these pallets you will find many items worth very good money and some worth more then you would expect. When I buy truckloads I generally fill 3-5 commercial trashcans full of garbage. But the remaining items are sold and we do profit from those items. As A Rule you should expect 30-40 percent of your load to be unsellable. You can buy a good full truckload for as little as 7 thousand and generally you will sell that load for around 13 thousand up to 20 thousand if you do it right.

In this type of market you take a risk purchasing liquidations. The risk should not be in the hands of the inexperienced and the liquidator should not pay for the actions of a chargeback because the buyer did not know what they were getting into.

My current truckload has probably 7-9 pallets of unsellable items 3 of them are packed full of christmas lights left over from the holidays. Most are good but its not a good season to sell them. The rest will be filled with smaller items not worth listing or just items that are damaged beyond repair.

But we have found a ton of brand new items and hot items that are selling like hotcakes right now. Our load consists of about 30,000 in wholesale value. We payed 6800 for the load and are estimating selling off the load somewhere around 14k or more. And im expecting a 35-40% unsellable merchandise amount. I had to pay by bank transfer for all the truckloads I purchase. I also have to sign contracts with certain retailers on some items we have.

So if you fully expect all liquidators to accept credit cards you will find your options limited

I don't really expect them to accept credit cards. I have searched all over for information on them and havent been able to find any so it does make you a bit skeptical. I will admit I am a newbie to liquidations but I currently market off lease electronics and computers, sell scrap electronics and computers and sell used computer parts. I am looking to get my own thing going instead of making everyone else rich.
