I get the impression that a lot of Salehoo users do not do trade shows/expos. Guys, if you can get to one, GO. There are so many great shows out there, year-round, and the suppliers you can meet and deals you can get in-show are amazing.

Great advice indeed, But be aware that you need a really good stach of cash or line of credit to venture into this source of suppliers. But indeed good advice!

Yes as with any business you must buy inventory to really buy true wholesale. You will need cash, credit or some vendors offer net 30 with a good business credit rating which I think the best agency for business credit rating is Dunn and Bradstreet if you guys want to google Dunn and Bradstreet to explore business credit ratings. These trade shows are the golden gorilla and the best deals are made at these shows.....

You don't have to have a lot of money to spend to go to shows -- it is just often the case that the show-exclusive deals are too hard to resist, if you happen to have the money to spend. Trade shows are an invaluable source of new contacts; if you have one anywhere near you I wholeheartedly recommend checking it out, whether you can buy anything or not.

There's also Norton's in Tennessee this month, and the Boston Gift Show. I'll be at Norton's in case anybody wants to get together!
