What a horrible experience I just went thru! Please remove this vendor from your database: Valor Communications

They set me up with an account... I asked "all" the questions and was told "don't worry we'll work with you thru any problems"... so I just spent the past two weeks making templates and listing over 200 auctions... the auctions were to starting to end and I had a few to process... I started to process them today in the companys website and each item (which only cost $4) was being charged $13 to ship via UPS!!! OMG... that was not explained to me and when I called there was nothing they could do because the UPS was a seperate entity in their shopping cart! So now I had to order all the winning items to be shipped to me and then I will have to ship them all to the respective bidders individually which will take twice as long and cost me a lot more money to cover all this shipping so that the bidders can receive their items!!! I have a 100% perfect rating on eBay that may now be in jepordy because of this! This company is not prepared to sell individual items... they only work with "bulk" orders to other companies (B2B) so they should not be listed on SaleHoo at all since they cannot cater to "auction sellers"... I'm just devistated right now over what just happened here!!!

How am I going to explain this to these bidders who may have to wait up to three weeks to recieve their items?! OMG... this is NOT a good way to start out... :(

Hi Ximora,

We are sorry to hear about this situation. From this supplier's profile page, they stated the they offer blind dropshipping services on a case-by-case basis. Have you initially clarified that you plan to use drop shipping with them? We will be in touch with this supplier to confirm their terms and conditions, and we are seriously considering your request to remove them from the directory if needed.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Yes I did... that's why I'm angry with them... all they kept saying to all my concerns was "don't worry about it, we'll work with you"... When I called today about the dropshipping, they said that was a totally different program that you have to pay for and that the director only gives that out on a case by case to "businesses"... when I spoke to the person who signed me up I let him know exactly what I was doing selling on ebay and at flea markets, trade shows etc and that I would be listing "hundreds" of auctions of their product and that they would be shipped directly from their company and it would be a lot of small "one piece" orders because of the nature of "auctions" and I was never told they didn't do this or that the dropshipping was a totally different program (I believed when I applied that they had already set me up for dropshipping). I found out today, that wasn't the case and that I had to pay for being a blindshipper and that the director would have to accepte me as a "blindshipper" and that would be unusual since I wasn't a "business"... so I go and waste all of two weeks building templates and listing auctions... then getting "bids" that I couldn't check out of their shopping carts because they limit their shipping to UPS which makes it impossible to ship a single item because of the high cost! Why couldn't they say somehting about that... they had to know that UPS doesn't ship anything under a pound meaning each item sold individually would cost $13 to $15 to ship a piece! I called back and told them to cancel my account... I'm livid over this and having to appologize profusely to those who placed bids and placed their trust in me! I'm more angry about that than anything else... I'm BIG on customer satisfaction and this does not meet my expectations and I don't expect this to meet my bidders either... and I'm praying this doesn't cause me to get my very first negative feedback after over 8 years of being 100%... but they seriously need to consider using USPS if they want to cater to the "smaller" seller or they are just plain useless to us and shouldn't be listed here since most of us are not a "company" who can afford bulk quantities. Thank you for letting me rant...

Hi ximora,

Thank you for sharing that with us. I have contacted the supplier and raised this concern, and I referred them to this forum post for details. I will be waiting on their reply and if there will not be reasonable justifications for this (or if no response at all), we will heed your request on removing this supplier from SaleHoo.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for doing that! I may have found another manufacturer... I'll be in touch with them this week and will do a trial run... if all works out well then I'll let you guys know so you can add them here on SaleHoo, but I want to make sure they work out first! Thanks again for your help... :)
