Does anybody know of website you can go to check if a American company is legitimate or not before sending my funds to them to buy goods only to find out I have lost my money because they were not real to start with.

One of the better tools you van use is Link hidden: Login to view see if they have a profile on there and see how they are rated. Another idea you can employ is doing a domain name search on them. We recommend only dealing with business that has had a website in operation for quite some length of time, certainly not one with a newly registered domain.

If you would like to post their name, we can see what we can find out on them for you.

Hi penguin10,

Could you kindly share with us the website address /url for that company? I just need to be sure we are looking at the same website before I check. Thanks.

A cursory glance suggests that you stay away from that one, penguin10. I have not seen the prior site, but apparently Factories Liquidations is a copy of a site called Closeout Connection that turned out to be a ripoff artist.

Google Maps is a little out of date, but the building that is listed as Factory Liquidations' address appears to be abandoned and not suited for the purpose of merchandise warehousing anyway. Across the street from the building is Mid-Georgia Commercial Tires; you might consider giving them a call and asking about the building across the street, whether it's vacant or whatever. (404) 762-1650 is their number.

Feel free to take the bit of research I posted above further, and make your own conclusions. I was just putting up some info to help, have not dealt with them myself so I cannot say for sure whether or not TFL is genuine.
