Would like to be recommended 4-5 of the liquidators in Florida that has best product does not "cherry pick" and supplies by the trailer loads from major department stores.

It seems to me there are more liquidators in Florida than i New York? Is there any reason. Or its just because the directory in Salehoo has fewer listings of New York based liquidators?

Hi Robb,

We're always updating our directory with more suppliers, so make sure you keep checking back every few weeks/months to see if there are more in NY.

You seem pretty keen on using liquidator suppliers, so here are a few pointers to keep in mind when using them:

Liquidators are a great source of products because they often get a wide range of items.

This is because liquidators generally buy their stock from stores and businesses that are liquidating, or going out of business.

So one liquidator might have a few pallets of sports equipment from a sporting store, then a bunch of wallpaper, paint and home renovation items from a home decoration specialist store.

This can be really beneficial for sellers who want to offer a wide range of goods, but it can also mean that your supply of products is unreliable, because liquidators don't always stock the same items.

Also, using a liquidation supplier is a great way to get your hands on designer items that are typically VERY difficult to source.

Liquidators can often buy designer items that have slight defects, or are samples or end of lines. Not only will your buyers go gaga over these items, but it can really increase the sales of the other products that you offer on your eBay Store or website, as they start browsing for other bargains you have on offer ;)

All the best!

Although located in California, I think Via Trading (Link hidden: Login to view) is also a really great liquidator and they have great stuff to choose from coupled with great customer service :)

All the best!

Further more from my PM Robb, Genco is a big name in liquidation, and a very trusted name, although they are based in Pittsburgh, PA. If you didn't need to visit, I would be suggesting taking a look at www.genco.com.

Another in Florida, Topper International, also an approved supplier here in our directory.

To the best of my knowledge, all the names I have provided you with do not cherry, and all have good solid trading reputations.

Hi Robb,

In order to provide you with the best assistance, it would be helpful if you could answer a couple of questions:

First, why do you specifically want liquidators in Florida? Are you located in Florida and are thus hoping to avoid paying shipping costs for your bulk liquidation purchases? Because if that's the case, in my experience, it doesn't make that much of a difference where the liquidator is, in terms of how much of a deal you can get on the products.

In terms of wanting the "best product", which liquidator you may want to use really depends on the type or types of products you're interested in selling. Some liquidators are only the best for a particular type of product or category of products, so in order to give you the best direction in this area, it would be really helpful to know which products you've been thinking of selling.

And as far as wanting products from major department stores, are there any particular department stores you have in mind? Are you interested in selling products from stores like Macy's, Nordstrom's, or JCPenney's? Or are there other particular department stores you have in mind?

Lastly, as far as whether there are more liquidators in Florida than New York, there may be, but that shouldn't really make any type of difference either as far as what kind of deal you may be able to get. As far as I know, there's no connection between the number of liquidators in a particular location and how good they may be, or how many products they may have.

Thanks,

Erika G.
