I am looking for a supplier that is taking orders for the new playstation 3 being released this November. I am looking to buy about 25 units to start with. I am willing to buy the 60gb or 20gb versions but prefer the 60GB.

Hi,
I too am looking for a supplier for the Aussie market. But, I can help you with a supplier who is taking pre-orders only for US residents, check out Netdropshipper.

Please let me know how you go, I hope this helps.

Regards,
jenmat :P

I'd be careful if you're considering buying from netdropshipper, they have TONS of negative reviews. I've got a post on them under Name them and shame them. Good luck.

I agree that I really don't prefer netdropshipper. I saw another company like cosmic creations out of Autin, Texas but they really don't add up. My Sony rep says that he can't help me at the moment because I am a small company. I just want a piece of the pie.

Hi,
Jenmat again, if you are in contact with your Sony rep, why don't you place an ad through the forum for everyone that wants to order small quantities and place one large order which you and your sony rep would be happy with. I would be interested if this is the case.
Good luck!
Jenmat :D

Likewise here.
I have been hunting around on the net. I found a price that's too good to be true (US$200) so I think I will avoid that supplier.

If I find anything I will let you know.

I have sent an email to my sales rep about the moq and payment terms for preorders on the Playstation 3 console. I will let you all know what the reply is when and if I get one. The commercial about small business owners and capital one is starting to hit home. lol

I found a supplier that is legit although he requires contract papers between businesses as you have to pay for the order now. He is charging 409 for the 20gb.

I am hoping to find a supplier that only requires a deposit until the shipment comes in.

I contacted my rep and they won't break the order up into multiple shipment. The price is very firm due to limited supplies. Anyone else have any ideas on how to acquire and order. I am willing to buy 100 units at this time. I talked with another supplier but an order of 200 xbox premium consoles at 379 a copy would be the only way to get me on the list. They are also unsure of how many they will be receiving for shipping. They are an authorized distributor of sony, nintendo, and microsoft products. Their prices don't leave much room for us ebayers and such. Mainly a profit by bulk company.
