It seems to me there are more liquidators in Florida than i New York? Is there any reason. Or its just because the directory in Salehoo has fewer listings of New York based liquidators?
Robb
Hi Robb,
We're always updating our directory with more suppliers, so make sure you keep checking back every few weeks/months to see if there are more in NY.
You seem pretty keen on using liquidator suppliers, so here are a few pointers to keep in mind when using them:
Liquidators are a great source of products because they often get a wide range of items.
This is because liquidators generally buy their stock from stores and businesses that are liquidating, or going out of business.
So one liquidator might have a few pallets of sports equipment from a sporting store, then a bunch of wallpaper, paint and home renovation items from a home decoration specialist store.
This can be really beneficial for sellers who want to offer a wide range of goods, but it can also mean that your supply of products is unreliable, because liquidators don't always stock the same items.
Also, using a liquidation supplier is a great way to get your hands on designer items that are typically VERY difficult to source.
Liquidators can often buy designer items that have slight defects, or are samples or end of lines. Not only will your buyers go gaga over these items, but it can really increase the sales of the other products that you offer on your eBay Store or website, as they start browsing for other bargains you have on offer ;)
All the best!
