I surfed the web for some time now and found out that artsnow is a clone of urbanload.

Hi Privendo,

Welcome to SaleHoo, glad to have you with us!

Very good observation there :) Here's what UrbanLoad.com had to say which pretty much answers your question -

If you notice any identical sites to Urbanload, please don't be confused. These are our SuperVIP account holders belonging to our company.

The only difference is Urbanload ships from Compton,US. That means your customers in US or UK will get their items much faster.

Hope this helps and clarifies everything :)

Thanks Richelle,

I'm still wondering if someone is really working with them, while I read some posts regarding a scam related to this company. Moreover they don't answer your emails AT ALL!

What troubles me is that these posts are 1 and 2 years old

Hi again privendo,

Seeing that they are not a listed supplier on SaleHoo and they are not replying to any of your emails - it may be best if you avoid dealing with them at this time.

You might consider contacting Urbanload.com instead, we have pre-screened them to be safe to deal with and they are currently listed in our directory - Link hidden: Login to view

All the best!

Richelle,
I really need you the check this up:
1. After a while I got response from artsnow.com, telling me that they don't know urbanload.com.
2. urbanload.com is an exact clone of artsnow.com.
3. Sending emails to urbanload.com (support@urbanload.com) and also trying to call them, get no response.
4. I really wish to know how have you pre-screened them if they don't answer the phone, nor answering emails.

I sent you a PM. I can guarantee that Urbanload's products come directly from China. They ARE a reseller for Artsnow. They have their web code and are set up exactly like Artsno. So they are either not sying they are connected or have stolen their web design. EIther way it is a unethical and personally I wouldn't do business with Urbanload. Check out their Whois info and I'll bet it is much newer than Artsnow.

I copy and pasted their severs from a WHois lookup.

Domain servers in listed order:
NS1.VIP-STORES.COM
NS2.VIP-STORES.COM

Those are the exact ones Artsnow.com sets up a reseller with as I did this myself a couple years ago when I was a VIP seller with Artsnow. lol

If you are drop shippig on eBay, I highly suggest knowing the game before you enter.

The shipping from China is unpredictable. Sometimes taking up to a month for a customer to get their item.

You will have to deal with unhappy customers even if you state in plain site how long the shipping is.

Paypal may hold money until an item is received by customer and or positive FB is obtained if you are a new seller.

Be prepared for problems and have a set patter to tell your customers to alleviate negs and low DSRs.

Have more than one seller account if one gets dinged with a neg or even consider going underground.

You might consider bulk purchases with known good sellers. Orders of 300 plus dollars get free Fedex shipping.

People still sell on eBay with Artsnow so there is money just use caution.

That's what I suspected when I did a whois search for both sites, thanks for confirming it, planes!

Yes, urbanload.com is a much younger site than artsnow.com

@privendo: At this point I don't personally screen and approve the suppliers, although I did a couple of years back. So I am unable to give you a precise reply to your question.

Cheers!

Thanks Richelle.

Artsnow.com is totally legit. Make sure to read through their forum and learn the ropes.

They are pretty bad sometimes with returning messages and there is a language barrier.

Last I heard they were shipping over 3000 products a day.
