Hey Guys..
I recently bought SaleHoo, and I used chinavasion and saw the 1080p camcorder that's up.. right here: Link hidden: Login to view

and i made the eBay listing as you can see in the above link, and i priced it so i have a profit and stuff.. however I'm really scared that I might either not make a sale or.. something's gonna go wrong.. is chinavasion trustworthy, and did i do everything properly? THANKS. PLEASE HELP.

how can you make a profit at $50 when chinavasion start at $220 AUD, no idea, don't be scared, just when someone buys it just order it and have it sent to them, be prepared to not make a profit with chinavasion as lots of people use them.

and welcome to the world of dropshipping.

I just checked, you are the cheapest on ebay.ca by about $180

Thats OK, I have found dealing with chinavasion to be a pain, you have set the bidding to start at $50, what happens if you only get one bid, you will still have to send it thus a loss.

you can set a reserve or say have it start at yoour minimun of $220 canooks.

I would start by looking for a niche market, something you are familiar with and something not a lot of people are selling, then find a wholesaler in canada who stocks it and also dropships it.

You have it on for 7 days, you wont get enough people looking at it at that short a time.

either edit your listing or remove it, chinavasion is a trusted site but the quality of the product in my opinion is not good enough to resell.
this will have a knock on effect of giving you a poor reputation before you have started.

my advice is not to any newseller is not too touch electronics as it is saturated.
Too many people think they have to sell electronic goods for some reason?

Also Harry, I am not sure how you did your listing but try using Auctiva, looks better, you can just copy and paste and you get all the pics too.

I have that one listed, sold 1, have a look at my listing.

I would start the listing at your minimun, do not set a reserve price as it costs money to set a reserve.

Alright, I removed the listing.

I really need to make some extra cash, I've been looking into dropshipping for a couple months.. I tried to look for guides, and tutorials but didn't find many informative ones. That's my reason to joining salehoo. All you guys are really nice and helpful.

Could somebody here possibly help me get started in dropshipping?

here's one I thought may have potential, but not sure if they dropship or not, you can just ask.

email them and ask them if the dropship and also accept paypal as a form of payment

The noise makers seemed fine but they have lots of other items.

When I list something I put 35% on top of what I buy for, even that I reckon is low, thinking of going to 50%, remember, this is not a get rich quick scheme.

Do not offer free shipping because ebay will take a cut of that too.

I'm honestly really confused, could you quickly make a skype or msn account or something where we could talk? I'll even give you 50% of what I make, because I really want to get started on this.

We need to establish a starting point Haris, what sort of products are you interested in selling?

Once we know that, the support team will try and chase up some supply leads for you to examine, and you'll be underway.

Alright.

Well, I'm personally interested in gaming products (controllers, games, wires), I like branded clothes and shoes..and things along that line.. fashion and tech.

The games market is quite a good one in my opinion, it's one that I am in myself. That being said, I doubt very much that it would be a viable drop shipping business model, as to get any sort of decent margin you need to be investing in large loads.

Take a look around your local area, you may well even find a Video Games retailer that you can pitch the idea of drop shipping to. You don't have to tell them where you are selling, you just have to ask would they be happy for you to b an agent and supply them some sales. Of course part of that whole agent thing is getting the games at a reduced price.

You would be stunned at the amount of business opportunities that you can dig up if you actively seek them out. I've had my nose in plenty of doors myself lol, and while sometimes it was a waste of time getting out of bed, other occasions putting my nose in that door has taken me down some extremely exciting avenues.

Cables, another strong market, but again, I think big wholesalers buying direct from China would be extremely hard to go up against with a drop shipping model.

I have a business partner that buys by the container load form China, and he has his margins cut to the bone to compete in the UK market. Very strong turn over figures, but he needs those strong sales to get any sort of half decent profit for the effort.

Brand name clothing is an interesting one. If you had some capital to work with I would be suggesting that the surplus market is where you should be looking. Lots of things you need to be watching out for when buying liquidated products, but that is a great market to pick up branded clothing.

Anyway, we have a starting point now so that's good. One of the support team will most likely reply to this post with some supply leads for the avenues you have indicated, if they exist of course, but you can contact support@salehoo.com with your product preferences to be absolutely sure someone is digging for you.

Once we find you some suppliers for what you want to sell, then we can walk you through the research stage ; )
