Hi - I am in the research phase - looking at different niches.

How do I access from your site a list of drop shippers that service the Australian market.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Robert,

Go into the wholesale directory and select the category you want. Once selected, you will see "More Options" You can refine you search down by selecting that option.

Cheers

Hm, in the same predicament looking at niches in Australia right now..

The directory doesn't seem to have an extensive list of options for Aus.. am I doing it wrong? When I select Oceania as region, my list of options dwindles significantly, in fact in some cases to none.

So does this mean that the list of available dropshippers in Aus is massively low or just that the directory has some work to do?..

Hi Eric and welcome to the forum,

Means both actually, if the results are returning low numbers of resources then we don't have many approved suppliers for this region currently. Of course most dropshippers do ship internationally, so that might be an option for you.

The suppliers in our directory are added through a verified application process and we do set a very high standard to be approved to ensure our members are getting the safest suppliers to deal through. Some times that will mean that we may be low in some product lines or on supply resources in certain regions, but it's an ongoing process with new applications being verified every week, so we really never know where the next supplier will be from or what they will be selling.

Cheers

Hi Marc, firstly excuse my tone if its slightly brash, just going for clarity here.

I came on board with the promise of a massive list of suppliers available to me, but looks like this is not the case for Oceania. I could dropship internationally but this comes with added risk, not to mention the inconvenience my customers would face waiting weeks instead of days for a shipment?

I don't blame the nature of the local market on you of course, but perhaps it may be wise to point out that most of the suppliers in the directory are targeted at your larger markets? A handfull of dropshipers for all niches combined, fall a bit short of what I was expecting. There was a certain promise of available suppliers at signup, not necessarily accurate for my region however.

In any case I'm not giving up just yet but clearly running a niche in my region is not as easy as say in the U.S.
I may have to get in touch about potential suppliers soon (perhaps my joining fee can be consolidated by your team that way as opposed to the directory), I just need to narrow down my niche first.

Now only to find out how to make that decision without being able to canvass a large group of local suppliers.

Hi Eric,

Unfortunately we don't have the same coverage for all regions, a very hard thing to accomplish as not all regions have the same amount of suppliers. Australia for example, not a large dropship supplier market down here. When you combine issues such as this, along with the fact that entry to our directory is only through an application process, and then passing our verification process to ensure the supplier is safe for our members to deal with, that compounds the issue for some regions.

Of course there are directories around that list any supplier they find to cover a mass market. That of course gives you suppliers, but it doesn't give you any indication if you're money is safe when ordering. So our aim is of course to get as many suppliers across the board throughout all the regions, our number one focus is on making sure the trading safety of our members come first.
