It just doesnt make sence. The prices on ebay seem lower than the dropshippers' prices. I was thinking maybe I should buy it from ebay and sell it back to them :D jk.
Is there anyone here actually making money on dropshipping?
and how? or tell us what not to do to lose money.

Due to recent changes its doubtful anyone will make money on ebay. Ebay is now holding payments through paypal for 21 days or untill the buyer leaves good feedback.. Your best bet is to make sure you have the items in stock before you sell them. Dropshipping will be a thing of the past on ebay. If they have thier way about it.

Since when did eBay enact that policy? I haven't noticed any changes.

The same goes for me. I am also wondering about this new policy Jimmy mentioned.... It is kind of weird how paypal will hold your funds for 21 days and just release it after the buyer has left you a positive feedback.

I only make money on dropshipping, but I'm from Sweden. The dollar ain't worth a shit you know, so I can buy directly from eBay or wherever I want. I would say eBay is a good place for international buyers.

....but they are most likely 'Middleman' or retailers, what you need to be serious is REAL wholesalers.

And they are going to change how feedback is done too. Soon a seller can't leave negative feedback in reply to negative feedback from a buyer. (This one's for real)

No, Jimmy wasn't having another paypal hate dream...lol. Here's the info for the new ebay policy changes. You have to read everything carefully because ebay makes the main points of the changes sound fantastic, just to hide all of the bs in the small print. These changes can severly hurt the sellers out there. Be sure to click on and read every link.

I've found that it can take a long time to find a product that will sell and make money after ebay fees, shipping and handling etc. I've
found it can be a very time consuming project to find items that will sell for sure, but it's time well spent once you start making the money.

I look for closeouts and ridiculously low priced merchandise. Another possibility is to consider selling locally on craigslist or through yard sales. I don't dropship because I've had bad luck with it. There's a free wholesale directory available at

I've often found that I can get better offers and make more money by not using ebay. In fact I just bought the Ebay in reverse system
where the guy explains how he buys on Ebay and resells his auction purchases for profit.

Profit is after all what is important. There are many other marketing strategies I use. My biggest thing now is making sure the item is profitable. If you're selling at a yard sale, or craigslist you don't have to lower your price to compete with everyone else.

You could easily profit from yard sales by buying just a few items I've seen over the last 2 weeks. Items originally $10-80 from .50 cents to $5. That's where the money is, and that's when I'm comfortable with my purchases. I don't try to sell items when the profit margins are too slim. I hope this helps.
