Hi all

I have an eBay account and I am trying to use one of the verified drop shipper to sell several authentic handbags(Gucci, Burberry, etc), but ebay just banned my account and say that they determine the items that I am selling is a threat to their selling community regardless of how hard I explain to them of where I find those authentic handbags. I also send them many real product pictures to prove the authenticity. Then, they just simply tell me I cann't sell those products anymore and there is no further explanations.......
WHAT HAPPEN TO EBAY............I don't understanding...... they are not even listen to my explanations......

If I sign up for one of the drop shipping program in a website, is it necessary means that I can sell all the brand handbags, shoes, wallet etc on ebay????

I'm a newbie in salehoo and eBay, so i'm very confused with this. Anyone can help me???
Also, does anyone have a handy web source for the drop shipping program for non branded sunglasses (such as DG, X-loop, biohazard etc....) and they can do single item drop shipping instead of whole dozen/lot??? I'm really interested in this.

Thank you very much!

Hello there,

It's an unwrittten rule - New ebay sellers should avoid (at all cost) selling branded products. You should have ideally worked on your feedback to show that you are a reliable seller. Many have taken the path you did and ended up the same way too.

You might want to work on your feedback first by selling other types of products before hitting the high streets with brand name items whether you are selling on ebay or elsewhere. Many buyers will depend greatly on previous feedback before closing the sale.

Sorry i' m confused, are you looking for non-branded or branded sunglasses? If you are looking for non-branded ones, here are a few dropshippers to check-out:

Hi

Thank you for your information. Actually, I'm looking for brand and non-brand sunglasses! I checked all the website you provided below, but they will not be able to provide me the single item drop shipping service. They only can do dozen/lot shipping. Does the drop shipping really almost a dead end for now???

Those drop shippers would offer almost same price as eBay. How is it possible to have compete the price with eBay??

For the feedback, what is the average (or general accepted) feedback amount I should have in order to list those brand bags, sunglasses??? 100? 100000??

Really appreciate your answer!!!

Hello there,

I wouldn't consider dropshipping to be a dead end. In fact it's still a good way to get started especially if you have limited capital to start with.

Anyway I reviewed the list I provided you last time and a couple of the suppliers do dropship without requiring any minimum order quantity. Kindly refer to the links and quoted FAQs from each site.

What is the minimum order for drop-shipping?

We do not have a minimum order! We accept any order no matter how big or small. Please keep in mind we are wholesale only so we only sell by the dozen. We will not sell or ship individual pairs of sunglasses or accessories unless the quantity is specifically listed as less in the item description.

Is there a minimum order amount?
No. We only request that you place each customer’s order separately by Ship To address.

You have to be pretty savvy if you want to survive on ebay. Actually as mentioned by one of our master member's Frank, many sellers use ebay as a vantage point for traffic and not necessarily for selling. You have to remember that ebay is not the only selling platform online, there are many others like Addoway, which recently placed Link hidden: Login to view and also an official partner of SaleHoo :) Other sites you might want to explore are etsy and Bonanza.

Sorry but as far as I can recall there is no standard feedback score to meet to be able to sell branded items on ebay. But ideally you should have pretty solid feedback and your DSRs should also be good to back you up as a reputable seller.

Hope this helps :)

The same thing happened to me. But to straighten out, the account is not banned but restricted our rights as a new seller. It is to give ebay a chance to review whether we are seller who is trustworthy or not. We were given 90 days to prove that we are serious seller, and then be asked ebay to review our account. More information can be found at:

Hope this can help

Welcome SaleHoo, junada :)

You're lucky ebay only decided to restrict your account. However in the case of the OP they were banned for good.

All the best!
