Gemstone wholesalers (preferably UK)

I'm interested in buying bulk lots of gemstones, I've had a look on ebay, seen a few prices, but not sure what to compare them with. I'm looking for a gemstone supplier who deals in all sorts of gemstones, including emerald, ruby, etc. and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. And also wondering where to get gemstones valued for free online, just to get a rough idea of value?
