I am looking outside of salehoo for a very simple reason, not enough qualified suppliers.
I found this Company 5tech which says it has offices in New York, London, Dubai, and Poland.
Has anyone had dealings with this company? Link hidden: Login to view

Domain information on them here Link hidden: Login to view

As they have not been verified by SaleHoo and approved as trusted supplier, we are unable to recommend them. However, the URL you have given shows as some sort of a course provider, is this the correct URL?

It in not looking so good at the moment, have called both of their UK lines, neither seem to work.
So the hackles are up at the moment.

Ahh, my mistake. I brought up Link hidden: Login to view by mistake, hence my confusion.

Their domain info checks out OK, been around as a registered business since 2005 Link hidden: Login to view. Quite strange that neither of their phone lines are working, do you mean disconnected completely or just no one answering?

I have to say that their site looks quite cheap and tacky, but that in itself isn't enough proof to hang someone of course. One thing I couldn't find was detailed information on payment options, that's where I would be focused personally. You want to use a safe payment method, something that gives you the option to get your cash back in the event of an issue.

One phone number said this number is not taking calls at this time, so I tried a little later. The 0844 number said the number was not recognized.

I emailed them on Monday, but no response as of yet. It appears there is no membership fee. Will keep you posted on results of email.

24 hours have now passed since emailing 5 Tech, still no response so have now given up on them.
Probably just another scam. I have been doing a lot of research here in the UK and have come up with comments on dropshippers and at least 1 so far that is listed on Salehoo (ATS) has been given some pretty bad reviews. Have also run across several middlemen websites, and some offering a free website, domain name, free 0844 number etc..... all well known scams here.
I am beginning to wonder if I have wasted my time even with Salehoo as their vetted dropship suppliers list is so small.
How often are these suppliers monitored?

24 hours is a relatively short response time for a lot of companies, good ones will usually respond within 48, so still a chance you may hear back from them yet.

Regarding monitoring, we have staff that are always reviewing suppliers to make sure they are all delivering the same level of service for members. You mention reading bad reviews, we don't act on third part reviews because they are impossible to verify. If you have any valid personal negative feedback on any supplier in our directory, then that should be brought to our attention asap and then we can act.

Regarding having scams in our directory, that's a pretty serious allegation to make and that's something we take very serious. So I would ask that you most definitely forward us details on these identified scams so these can be reviewed by admin as a matter of urgency.

Marc, sorry if you think I am accusing salehoo about their listings being scams, & did not say ATS was a scam just that I have read some negative feedback. Being new to this I read all the info I can find to avoid the many pitfalls and scams ( Who really wants to get burned?) Reading dropship forum and the likes have started putting a foul smell in the air. I also have found that many forums are run by the same people that have the business and only pass on what they want you to hear, along with blagging off the other companies? See the Conundrum In this? You don't know the company, so you research forum after forum just to find out that they are biased or deceitful as well. You Simply Can Not Trust what you read.

As for the 24 hours email bit, my policy is live up to what I put down in writing and by what I say. You know as well as anyone there are scams that set up a webpage promising the all the goodies like free hosting, web page, etc..... They were created for the purpose of getting you in the door up-selling you to more products and what started off as £14.97 is now over £100. What do you get for this A web page on some back street webserver that will never see the light, or hear the footsteps of customers coming to you store.

OK, I thought you were referring specifically to a listed supplier we had in the directory, mistake.

I know what you mean about other forums, but I hope you'll find that SaleHoo is completely different. It's one of the reasons we don't have a google list full of suppliers. Any supplier have to pass our verification process to be approved and to be honest, far more don't, than do. It would of course be easy to do it like others and just list anyone or even enter suppliers for a fee, but we don't just let anyone in and of course it's free. The only way in to our directory is by passing the verification process and that ensures the safety of our members as much as possible.

Regarding feedback, you do have to take what others say with a grain of salt. I dare say even the Pope would get negative feedback at times lol. When you've worked in business for a long time the one thing you learn is that an unhappy customer will tell 1000 people how bad you are, but a happy customer will tell no one.

No one goes out of their way to give a supplier a good wrap, and why should they really, good service should be expected. Of course bad service shouldn't be expected, so everyone hears about it, but what can do is give a very unbalanced view of the business. All bad news, no good news, easy to get a bad impression, despite not knowing how many customers were actually happy with the service.

I always say to take notice of bad reviews, but just use your own judgement in making your own decision. That's always worked for me in the past and hopefully will into the future lol

Is it possible to separate the suppliers that also are resellers? Why because what I have been reading is a bit scary, like a supplier who sells the same item in the same market and undercuts the reseller> This is what I read in another user forum about ATS Distributors. No1 Reviews.com
All though I don't trust the editors reviews completely, the user reviews although negative are warning shots to me.

Unfortunately not, but I think this recent thread will provide you with an insight as to why we can't.
