Has anyone used dropshipping?

Hey,
I was just curious as to any experiences people have had with dropshipping.
Do you dropship straight to your customers, and in this way, you never have to buy something, without selling it?
When the item arrives to the customer, does the invoice state how much you piad for it? Then the customer might be a little pissed?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

The customer never sees your price... Well, they're not supposed to. I use dropshipping and never had any problems with that.
