How do I find Aussie drop shippers?

Ok - I spent about 30-60 minutes trying to find a list of all Aussie drop-shippers to no avail, all I could find was oo.com.au, but looking at 10 random products and a fair few sellers on ebay blitz their items by at least $30 if not more.

Is there a way to look at all drop-shippers by country without having to put in a keyword to search? Makes it harder to find in my opinion.

I signed up due to the marketing e-mail about s--o--s who when registering with Salehoo found Aussie Drop-shippers.
All well and good, but if you can't find a global list within a few clicks it's a pain... :(

eBay has become an extremely competitive marketplace and it is not uncommon to find products selling at prices the same as or lower than wholesaler.

How can this be? Because lots of wholesalers sell on eBay directly to the public! Unfair yes, but its the reality.

You can try typing in Australia in the search tab, tick on Australia in the location drop down box and tick on dropshipper in the Type drop down box. You should get a list of dropshippers based in Australia. Here's the link to my search result:

Looking at Consumer Electronics.

I found Chinavasion and I am using them, but they don't cover everything. For instance I'd love to be able bundle one of their DVR systems with a 500GB/750GB/1TB HDD so users just get an "all in one kit". There are some wholesalers I found off-salehoo a while ago, but on average it's cheaper for the user to pickup the HDD from a local shop. But if I can offer an all-in-one deal... even better :)

I have only just started selling so no sales yet (but getting plenty of views and watchers so far), so I need that little bit of an edge to bump me over into a sale.

You have chosen one tough niche - consumer electronics is one of the most competitive products in the market not to mention the market itself is a bit saturated. But hey, if you get lucky you'll also earn just as much.

Anyway, have you tried negotiating with Chinavasion about your proposed bundle? You never know, they might consider your proposal. Most Chinese suppliers are readily willing to accommodate a customer's special request so long as they see potential in it.

Hi Richelle,

Yes it is a VERY saturated market, but in a lot of situations quite popular. I've already had several questions on a few items, just need to convert them to sales.

I have approached Chinavasion about bundling, unfortunately they do not offer HDDs as these are branded and they are not offering branded products.

I think the closest "branded" item I can see is a 1080P Full HD DVR setup (no HDD) but that I believe is more a Product Model name rather than a brand name.

So I have hit an area of interest, just need that "edge" to get it over the line.

Also, consumer electronics is my personal interest.

On that note, I have submitted an application to dww so I'm awaiting approval on that front for their systems and that will at least give me an Australian shipper for HDDs that I can then "bundle" a deal with. Just means the end-user will receive 2 packages. Not the most ideal solution, but one that works.

It's great to know that you seem to have everything mapped out and have actually done what you need to do to realize your plans. Good for you! =D

There is always some sort of edge when you pursue something of your interest, seeing that electronics is your personal interest you might just get where you want to since your motivation will likely run higher than most sellers.

Not bad for starters. So long as your customers understand why they will be receiving two packages, this set-up could actually work.

2 things.

1: Don't post all caps, that's bad manners and if you deal with your customers in all capitals they may be turned off.


2: Why are you looking to UK dropshipper in an Aussie Drop shipper thread? Have you used the Directory at all?
Spend some time on it and you can find companies. Google is also your friend.

I'm pretty sure there are no decent dropshippers in Australia, only retailers in the guise of wholesale dropshippers with high prices. I can see a big market here, I would love to setup a dropshipping company here like chinavasion etc, but the importing and logistics would be mind blowing. Anyone want to JV :)

AlliGDigital - sounds promising but hard market to get into.
I've been searching and have actually found a number of groups that are "dropshippers"... 2 gaming / dvd groups and a quite a lot more computers and associated peripherals.

But not so much on the consumer electronics front tbh.

So if we start up a Chinavasion Oz version I think that might be a winner... just need to perhaps work with CV to perhaps setup a sister company in Australia? No idea on the financial direction for that unfortunately.
