international shipping and custom (import)fees??

Hi guys,
I am going to start an ebay store.
i want to sell brandname clothes internationally
what if my customers need to pay high custom (import)fees and give me a negative feedback?

and about payment: i accept only paypal,so can the customer pay with credit card and i receive it in my paypal accout?

i hope someone can help?

You need to state in your auction listing that import fees maybe payable and it is the buyers liability. Make sure this is visible to avoid any complaints.

If you get a negative feedback there is not a lot you can do, try contacting eBay and see what they do.

If you only accept PayPal then buyers can pay with their credit card, debit card or PayPal balance. It then goes straight into your PayPal account and takes around 5 days to clear.

eBay will actually remove that negative feedback if it is due to custom issues if assuming you stated it clearly on your listing that the buyer is responsible for all custom charges. Sometimes, buyers just purchase without actually reading all of your description and your policy so always follow up once you email them regarding their tracking number that they are responsible for all custom charges upon delivery of their package and that they should not mistake this as shipping charges but rather fees for cost of border.
