Is dropshipping free?

Im new at this, but i thought dropshipping was free?

It depends on the supplier now, many do now charge fees such as an account establishment fee and so on. There are still those that have no fees as well of course, you just have to weigh them all up as to who provides the better value for what they offer.

ok but when i try to register they ask for company name, do i have to have my own company to be a dropshipper?

If you have an eBay id, just use that. That should be absolutely fine for a dropsipping account.
