vendors for dropshipping needed

Hi,
I started my own amazon account recently and don't have money to invest so i am trying to do drop ship but the vendors i have reached out their pricing are reduced retail pricing then you add shipping most of the items are cheaper to buy direct from amazon.Does anyone know of a wholesaler with good pricing for drop-shipping.

Hi BG and welcome to the forum.

Dropshipping has it's advantages, but price isn't one of them unfortunately. You have to remember that you are only purchasing one item at a time, so dropshipping prices are always going to reflect close to retail, but an important factor not over look is that prices on Amazon and eBay aren't actually retail, they are mostly wholesale or even below wholesale.

You mention wanting a good wholesaler, but you also identified that you don't have the cash to invest in stock, so that's a little confusing. While there is no doubt wholesale will get you better prices, the obvious question would be how are you going to afford to purchase wholesale if you don't have the available cash to outlay?
