Why am I having so much trouble with chinavasion?

ordered something last night, accidentally sent it to me, problem there is I changed the country I live in to see what the postage to another would be, well, instead of coming to Australia, its going to Maldives.

bugger me.

trouble there is as soon as I pressed the button to order and realized I went and chatted online to support who stated he will fix it.

I also submitted a support ticket asking them to change the delivery address.

again today I asked them if they had acted on it via their support tickets.

I again chatted online to their support and were assured again that it will be changed.

Well guess what, they didn't change it and its going to maldives.

Sorry AGS, but I can't help having a very quiet chuckle at your expense on this one. I can just imagine the look on your face when you realized what had happened, then the mass panic that set in lol.

I know, I shouldn't find that funny so forgive me!

Wow, I have no idea how on earth you are going to get out of that one if their customer support isn't much help at the moment. Seems that package is going to the maldives, despite your best efforts to stop it.

I assume the address wasn't genuine, so the chances of it being deliverable are pretty slim, I would suspect that it may well bounce back to the sender and you may well be able to claim a refund at that point.

Just keep on them about it. Of course I've heard of worse excuses for a holiday. Honey, I just have to fly out to the Maldives for a week, I have a package to pick up : )

they say it has been changed but when I mentioned that hey UPS has it going tomaldives, hey, we will notify them

just an update, like its now th 18th June, still no parcel, UPS are claiming that they are sending it back to chinavasion, they are deciding what to do, I have told them I DONT WANT IT, still not that satisfactory.

have to dispute the paypal transaction before the end of june.

oh dear oh dear oh dear, update from chinavasion.., like its been 2 months now...

We have received confirmation from the courier regarding the Customs hold on your
order ---------

According to them:
* The goods can only be abandoned.

In accordance with our terms and conditions, you as the importer take final
responsibility for goods clearance and associated issues. (Please refer to the terms
and conditions on our website here:

Unfortunately, since in this case the reason for the failure to clear Customs cannot
be considered Chinavasion's responsibility, we cannot offer compensation.

I am very sorry about the inconvenience and expense of this situation. I hope that
you can continue to use Chinavasion as your wholesale electronics provider, and
based on this case we will offer more detailed pre-shipment advice for future
orders.

2) In addition, we’re offering a “level 4”-customer discount on your next order.
Once you’ve chosen a product(s) from our website, please write to us first via email
with the product name and code and the number of items you wish to buy so we can
apply the appropriate discounts on that purchase.

I have a feeling their motto might be - Better late than never :)

Although its already several months after the incident, its still good that they have offered to re-compensate you for what has happened. If you don't feel confident enough in using them as your dropshipper, just order things for yourself or family members just to liquidate the $248.18 they returned in your Chinavasion account.

Hi Buddy,

Bud Luck lol

Here is a heads up for next time.

Once you place the order and you find it is incorrect, you can dont have to talk to anyone to change or cancel the details on the order you have just made (even if you have made a boo boo). Select the accounts tab and once logged in, it will take you to your order dashboard. just cancel the order by clicking cancel button next to the appropriate order that you wish to no longer have and and the order will be cancelled at your request instantly. If you have made payment, and the order is wrong, click cancel order and submit ticket to chinavasion to let chinavasion know and your payment will bounce back via the original source from which you paid Eg Paypal.
