I could if I would, the only issue, is that, theres lack of jobs, in my area, 30% of all workers in windsor, are layed off, same with most stores. Its hard, right now... I want to take a risk again... and just buy a lot of psp's from ever tek, if this goes successful, i could make the 3000 back, but I dont know if evertek is safe or not. Regardless, i want to make it quick, because I dont want my mom to not talk to me for a year @_@... and plus, I care alot about my grades, last time i had a job..it not only screwed me over, but the fact that I was only 15, the employees there would tease me regardless, and make me do most of the work. I care alot about my grades, this years average is 83% I realy want to goto University, next year is grade 11, and I just cant let my grades drop. I really need it, this is like a double edged sword right now, get a job, screw my relationship up with my mom for a year, and drop my grades, or take another small risk with what I got left.

BTW. I know evertek is on the suppliers list. But are their auctions trustworthy/

Well, I am consdering my self realy lucky.. I called paypal again, and setted up another dispute, and they said that if the person doesnt not send me the tracking number in 10 days I will get a refund. But I read the dispute stuff, and they say that they cant guarantee a refund. Does any one know why?

I don't think this is fake because I saw him on other forums posting for advice about what to do about his $3,000 possible loss.

Here is my advice and it might sound kind of cold..but you need to first just hope you can get your money back, but second you need to find a job and dig yourself out of the hole. People bailing you out or giving you donations won't help you learn anything. It sounds to me that you are taking unnecessary risks with money you cannot afford to lose. Overcoming difficult situations such as this will only help you in the long run by being more responsible, self-reliant, and a smarter business person.

Sorry to say, but this is for real, my ebay account is alex.trann that is my ebay account, I sell nintendo wii's, xbox 360 accessories and everything. But chances are is that Ill get the 3000 back, so its like starting of from scratch. Next month is my b-day, I was thinking of using my b day money, which would be around 300, to start off from scratch where i started before by getting things off liquidation, to sell them like how I started to make the 1000. This time i know what not to do, and what to do, and where to ask for advice. Right now, im hoping for the 3000 to come back, because its either they send the tracking number, or make refund if they fail to send tracking number. The only problem is that they 'cant' guarantee the refund. What do they mean by that? has any one had any previous experiences?

The only problem now, is that, my mother doesnt want to let me use her credit nor debit card now, so now, im stuck with giving my money to my friend in real life, and then have them transfer it to my paypal. Does anyone know if liquidation.com or liquidationtime.com users accept paypal? Also, is there any other solution to this?

Im also worrieing about if i should order refurbished ipods from liquidationtime.com. Has anyone ordered stuffed like that before? are they in good condition?

hey alex
really hope you get your refund of 3000.
i'm not the expert in this ebay trading and stuff but one thing i know for sure is that if your only a beginner, then selling electronics like game consoles/accesoories/ipods is really diffecult because the market is so saturated with that stuff and its quite hard to compete with the big boy powersellers on ebay. my advice to you is that if you want to be successful you have to be flexible and dynamic in what you sell. if something dosent work out then move onto something else. i think looking for liquidation stock is a step in the right direction, but personally i'm not so convinced with liquidation.com. the best place to start off from is from:***deleted by moderator***
try the profit packs, they only cost $145 and are a good place to start from. youre almost garunteed to get a profit with these, and then once you purchase one and sell all the items, you could think about buying the double pack, and then slowly build your business/profits and once you feel comfortable with this, try ordering one of the pallet loads. this website is really great, try starting a post about these profit packs and you will surely recieve positive comments from many satisfied buyers.
hope this helps alex. keep at it man, and dont give up, persistance will pay off eventually.

Thanks alot man, i went to the website, and it looks quite interesting, but have you tried this? Does it work? Because the reason being for me selling electronics, is because I have lots of knowledge about xbox 360's and Nintendo wii's I have a supplier tht can get me 6 wii's per month, its not that bad, considering its local, but I will give this site a try, also I started off from a local liquidation store, so I could test out if everything worked out. But thanks for a great suggestion my friend. thanks alot jasimao_sales ! =]

alex, check out this link about these profit packs:
***deleted by moderator***

a lot of posititve comments about the packs and hardly any negative points, so it seems like something you should think about. should be easy, just order one and then list all the items on your ebay account and let the money roll in.
i'm from the UK and shipping is $133 but i've still ordered one, waiting for it to come anytime soon :)
its always good to sell items that you know a lot about, and if you have found a local supplier that allows you to sell these electronics on ebay with a profit after paying all the ebay/paypal fees then good for you mate, thats not an easy thing to do these days.

Alex, hang in there - be patient. My family was on the verge of bankruptcy due to medical bills when I was a kid. My Mom and Dad pulled it together, and all of us kids got part time jobs after school and in the summer and we all did well in the end. It tought me that I can just put my nose to the grindstone and work my butt off and use my good mind to look for opportunity. If you are only a teen and already figuring out this and the basics of business, you will find yourself going far.
Can you sell your wii's etc using craigslist, amazon etc where there are no listing fees? (amazon charges 7% at the end, but that includes credit card processing).
Can I ask what you are selling the wii's for? They are really tough to find them around here.
Where are you located? You mentioned Windsor, but what state?
Take care -

This is no doubt a tough situation, real or fake. As tough as it is, right now, it is imoportant to step back and try for a moment to pull the emotion out of it. This boils down to a math problem that has to add up tp $3,000. You are obvious adept at being industrious, channel that energy a little differently. If the traditional job hurts the grades...don't work for someone else.

Here is where the math comes in. The example is in mowing lawns, it can work for cleaning windows, houses, shoveling snow or whatever...

1-lawn=$50
5-lawns a day=$250 (this can also be done on weekends, where you set the schedule)

4 days= a $1000
12 days=$3000...thats sat and sun for 6 weeks IF YOU ONLY DO THE SAME 10 Lawns.

If the business keeps up you may not need ebay.

Don't feel bad about the negative replies there are some questions that need to be asked though.

(i.e. How does a 15 year old get access to the family savings?)

Ya.. the problem is that, I live in Windsor , Ontario, we are on like a depression- in a way. Like, no one will pay 50 dollars to mow a lawn. it will be more like 10 or 5 dollars here.

Why your father was in a federal prison? because of you were selling fakes on Ebay? I never heard anyone got fined by Ebay because of selling fakes. The only thing i know is your account will be suspended. What will be happening next?

Personally I think It will be deleted for sure, and I think there will be a criminal record on you, knowing that like your bank account and everything is on your paypal. Im guessing that is how his dad went to prison. Because of that.

Paypal shall not release your bank information to any party without authorization from customer. Bank wont release that unless there is a legal notice from superior authority, like court. I really doubt the story is true.
Additionally, if it is true, 90% of ebay seller selling handbags or designer clothings shall just stay in the Federal prison for the rest of their life because the designer's store will never be selling their products on Ebay and it is a common sense that those items are just FAKE.

This story sounds true to me, I know the older members of the forum will find this hard to believe but it is really simple to set up eBay and Paypal..I am now 16 myself, I signed up for salehoo back in 2006 making me just 14 at the time, I started using eBay when I was 12 selling things from around the house etc I thought this was pretty great and it just went from there really, I have mostly sold clothes but then eBay suspended my account and that left me $4,000 out of pocket...Mind you that was a couple of years later when I had already been living the dream for a good two years..I stayed calm under the situation and got through it, the same thing happened again this year and again I bailed myself out..You cannot expect people to dig you out of this situation but what you can do is test yourself...Okay so you are in a difficult situation at the moment, make of it what you want, it's either a chance to prove to yourself how determined and clever you are or lose sleep over something that won't matter in 5 years time! Look at the positives from it, you are 16 and already can source some of the worlds most sort after items. Take a risk it may pay off, I have taken these risks many times and more often than not they pay off, think outside the box and do it...where there is a will there is always a way! There is definatley better days ahead, I often sat and thought oh dear but now I'm happy, going off to college next year and I spend most of my days on the beach or buying stuff :) All the best to you...

Well, Alex or whatever your name is, stand in line, I am over $120,000 in debt, on the verge of bankruptcy, and you are crying over $3000..

Bad investment, cost me over $50,000

This is why I joined this group to claw my way out of this before I lose more than just the money
