So i bought some products off a supplier in china, turned out not to be what was advertised. Anyway so i ask for my money back, and the supplier refused. I then put in a dispute with pay pal, as that's how i payed, and the supplier has now threatened me, that if i don't remove the dispute, he will someone round to my house to get me. He has also been ringing my mobile.

What would you do from here, if i lived on my own i wouldn't care, i can take care of myself, however i have a soon to be Indian wife, and her parents and grand parents living with me, and god love them, they cant take of themselves. Do i cancel the dispute, in the fact he could be serious, or would you think hes bollocks as i do, and go ahead with it? He told me his friend lives in NSW, and is unemployed, and needs the money, and he is going to pay this friend 50 bucks, to come to my house.

As i said if i were alone, bring it on, but for my family sake, i have to consider the possibility, that he is serious.
The amount is $460 im after by the way

I would do three things!

Firstly report his threat to the local police, secondly contact PayPal and make arrangements to forward his message to the case investigator. Third and finally, I would inform him of the measures I had taken and have my number changed!

Of course the chances are he's all fluff and bubble, but these steps are important because even though the police won't be able to do much you will have the threat on record. You want to also get the PayPal investigators details so you can give them to the police in the report. This will give them a link directly to the person making the threat.

Once he knows that he is now linked directly to you through the police and PayPal, then he will be in a corner with no where to turn. If he tries to carry out any threat, the trail will lead straight back to him.

You really don't want clowns like this getting away with these type of threats. Honestly, chances of him being for real are so small it's not even worth putting on your radar, of course that's an easy thing for me to say when it isn't me or my loved ones being threatened, but show him he's just made a really bad decision and now it's going to not only cost him the cash, but it will most likely shut his PayPal account down completely!

It might also be a good idea to list this supplier's name in our scams directory, we really don't want anyone else running into this clown, although once PayPal are made aware of the situation I seriously doubt he will be in business for much longer, at least not with a PayPal account.

That's sounds crazy and quite scary, I would be scared too if I were in your shoes :(

But I know Marc, and I'm sure his advice are very sound! So don't waste time, do them asap!

Take care and I hope you get over this nightmare.

PS - Just out of curiosity is this supplier from our directory? I certainly hope not!

Yeah I'd like to know who it was too? I don't want to do business with them.
