Hi,

I became a member here today, and are a bit new to this... As I am reading the forum, I was starting to wonder If I can trust the companies I see here on Salehoo? As I have paid to see all the companies, I thougt I would see all the 'good' companies... But after reading here a few hours, I am not so sure anymore....

As I am from scandinavia as well, All these companies are totally unknown for me, so I am really confused, and dont know wich company I can trust.. :S

Can anyone recommend any drop ship companies that sells clothes, dresses, underwear, jewelry, and so on, that can be trusted? (I know buying in bulk is better, but I have to start with drop ship).

I really cannot afford being scammed... ;)

If I cannot trust the companies in here, my money is kinda wasted on this membership on salehoo... what are the criteria for companies being listed in Salehoo?

Hope someone have the time to answer me.. :)

have a nice day guys :)

Camillia,

Salehoo does check out these companies but they can only provide you with leads. They can not control what every one of these suppliers do. They provide you with the sources but it is up to you to research them further. If you find one that interest you then ask around in the forums and Google them. This is usually a good way to get feedback on a supplier of interest. I will give you these couple of tips when searching for a good supplier :

* Never deal with a supplier that will only accept bank drafts or wire transfers.
* If a deal sounds to good to be true then it usually is.
* Check the Better Business Bureau for complaints
* Check whois.net
* If a company does not require a wholesale license (USA) then they are a middle man and not a true wholesaler.
* Search Google and ask around in the wholesale forums before buying from a new supplier.

Good luck and be sure to ask questions! Lots of questions!

I have been dealing with some of them and they are ok except for my last experience with chinagrabber.com. Thus, you may make one or two findings from the forum on any one of them you want to deal with.

If these companies are not reliable , Then salehoo should'nt permit them to deal with people who pay to become a member here . I would think that it should be salehoo responsibility to check these companies out to make sure their reliable . maybe salehoo should check to see wehther their a member of the BBB .

Just because you are not a member of the BBB doesn't mean that you aren't a legit business. The big problem is that even companies who produce fakes are legit companies, and do service certain buyers who sell through certain avenues throughout the world.

The problem arrives when someone unwillingly happens to purchase what they think is a genuine item, only to find out it's not. Ok, they would say that they got screwed on the deal, but another person looking for such a supplier may well be happy with their products and services.

Then you have situations where because one or two customers aren't happy they brand the company as one not to be dealt with. Bad publicity should always be considered when making any decision to do business with any entity, however it should be used in perspective so you are able to make a more balanced, and better informed decision.

My own personal opinion is that the directories here should be clearer, and businesses placed in more appropriate directories so as to save any confusion, but even fake makers have their place on a list like this. Lets face it, if fake makers weren't included on these types of lists then everyone would be screaming out that there was no Chinese suppliers!

Use the forum as a tool to assist when not sure because it is one of the better aspects of the whole site and will provide value for your money if you are willing to ask questions, but the list is simply a list like most others, and all of these types of lists are pretty much the same.
