Are there any Original Products in China?

I am interested to hear other peoples experiences of buying goods wholesale from China.

I have been looking for the last week at DHGate trying to find various products.

The only problem is that most of them are high quality replicas rather than the actual products.

Do people find this to be a problem?

How do you sell goods that aren't 100% original?

Do people source from elsewhere?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You'll find plenty on this topic spread throughout the forum, but the bottom line is that if you are wanting BRAND name products, you need to stay well away from China, doesn't matter the site you use, doesn't matter the supplier you choose.......you just won't be buying the genuine item.

Hello nofussing,

I've found a couple of forum posts that you might want to check out :

As Fudjj pointed out, you can assume that the majority of brand-name goods that come from China are either replicas or fakes. If you are looking for cheap generic goods, however, then China is your best bet.

I have had some experience buying from dh gate and they definitely do not sell original items. They do sell the high quality copies of just about anything you can imagine. I have gotten a couple of violations from ebay selling certain items I purchased from DH Gate so be aware.
