Hi there,

I am new to Salehoo & this will probably sound really stupid but does anyone know of any good ways to get photos of the item you are selling for your listings? for dropship purposes? For example, i am looking at electrical products such as laptops, MP3 players etc. How do i get a photo of the item i am selling without having to purchase one myself first for me to photograph myself? I am also a bit nervous about copyright laws and i have seen photos of the products on the suppliers website and elsewhere but when can you use other people photos (or when cant you!!)

Please help?

Hi grace190208,

If you are planning on using a wholesale drop ship supplier for your products then there's no need to worry about the pics at all. Most drop shippers if not all will allow you to copy the pictures (and descriptions) of the products you want to sell.

Most drop shipping sites will assist you with copying the pictures you need. If you are unsure, you can always contact your dropshipper for help.

Cheers :)

Hi Richelle,

I asked my suppliers for the photos and they said they were happy for me to copy and paste anything on their website to use. However, i sell on EBAY and i am finding that i cant paste photos onto listings (you can on the description part but not the thumbnail as that needs to be downloaded).

I am sp stuck, i dont know what to do now!!!!

Simply drag and drop the image from their website to your desktop by left clicking and holding the button, then drag to your desktop or a folder. You can also do this by right clicking and selecting 'save image as'. Then you will be prompted for a folder to save the image in. Select it and then click save.
You might be asked if you want to save it to my documents or pictures. If you like that then click save.

Then from your eBay page follow the prompts to upload your own image and click I think browse. This will allow you to open the folder where you saved the image. Now click the image and click, I think its upload. EBay will do the rest. Presto! Your image will appear in your listing and you have nothing else to do.
