Is DHgate from China really a scam?

Most of the article in forum says dhgate supplier from china is SCAM but this is the supplier I've been referred by salehoo and also chinavasion. So should I trust salehoo or salehoo member? some of the member had bad experience with dhgate. Any thought?

DH Gate themselves are not a scam, they are a sourcing directory that lists individual companies.

When you do business on DH Gate, you are doing business with an independent business, and there is where you have to be careful. Some businesses advertised on there are very genuine, however that doesn't mean the products they sell are authentic.

You really do have to research the business that you are interested in dealing with, not DH Gate itself.
