Newbie on forum and needing advice in start up selling

hello I'm new here on salehoo and as seller.

I want to ask You few questions.
What for a store should I open?
I'm living in the polish mountains, near ski and snowboard village , and also near best rocks in poland for climbing ,and near small airport only for passionates.
I got my own flat and only about 5k$ , and I can use my flat as a store because the front doors are going on the street.

I wanted open a r/c store or a computer store because there are so many ski/snowboard shops/rentals and also shop with mountain cloths/gear....
and in the near 50km is only one hobby store, and in the 15km first computer store.
i am just nervous that i will throw my money into sh** and i will got nothing.

please answer.

You seem to have quite a unique situation there where you are located. I would be suggesting the first thing you do is a feasibility study on the opportunities that are open to you.

Create a business plan, this will help you identify possible markets and understand your business and what you need to put in place to make it work. A basic part of any business plan will include a S.W.O.T analysis.

S: Your greatest strengths
W: Your greatest weaknesses
O: The opportunities
T: The major threats

This is a great place to start with any business plan as identifying these areas open up others areas to work on. There are very few guarantees in any business, so you want to be as sure as possible about your business and that you are not just going to lose that 5k in a snow drift!
