I have $467,000 to invest, i am wanting to order either of these products. Apple ipod touch (8GB), Microsoft XBOX 360 (Arcade Console), Sony Playstation 3 (40GB), Nokia N95. If anyone has any knowledge on the matter, please inform me on MOQ's/Production Run (from my research i hear at least 10,000/pcs), the price per product?

With that size budget you should be dealing with the manufacturers distribution source direct

I dont think the source will deal with an individual person that is the only problem as the capital you have does exceed most however to sony or microsoft it is just a drop in the bucket

The direct manufacturer should deal with you with that sized budget because you could order thousands of units. You need to present yourself as a business though and I think it should work out.

Yes, you will definitely need a business entity. I don't mean just turn up to the counter with a wallet full of cash....lol. You will need to make application to join their distribution network as a reseller.

I'm thinking if you have that kind of capital and you are asking for advice here on Salehoo where most (not all) members are on struggle-street trying to make extra cash online, you will need to perhaps do a business course or at least a hell of a lot of research before you start.

Difficult I can do right away. Impossible takes a little longer

If you are retailer you can buy from them...others wholesale, i think will be retailer or middleman or scams.

Whether these companies will deal with you will depend on how you intend to sell these items. I know some big companies will not sell to internet vendors because they don't want their products discredited by selling for under rrp.

you have $467,000 to invest?? holy sh#@!!

i have, lets see... $467,000 less than that. so, you're probably doing well for yourself... anyhoos...i am a registered reseller for several authorized microsoft and sony and apple distributors, and they will offer volume discounts, but you may get $30 -50,000 profit from a $500,000 investment, at best. And thats if you sell it at msrp. Hardly worth it. But if thats what you want to do, far be it from me to judge. After learning and suffering from this wholesale stuff for several years now, though, i can tell you i would invest that kind of money in wiser ventures. or at least diversify your investment and see which investments work best... but that's just me, but what do i know, i am poor and therefore i must be stupid.
