Ive been wondering about this for some time, but had no reason to ask untill now.

we all know the issue with paypal holding funds sellers recive from buyers on ebay. but is the same thing happening on the other auction site?

untill now ebay is the only auction site i have used, but now i want to give bonzale, atomicmall, and a few others a shot. with bonzale looking the best out of all, im going to start there first.

but i wondering, will i face the same hold issues,if i use paypal there?

Interesting question, ebay transactions is all you ever seem to hear about.

I must admit that I used to think that getting your account verfified would solve some issues with holding funds as well, and while I've never personally had any problems with my verified account, I've told that others have.

Thanks fudjj, but i have to say that ive had my account verified for about 2 years. but i did notice last winter when i switched banks and cards, i started getting holds again. then they went away again.for the most part, i mean every once in awhile, i would get the dont forget we are watching hold, lol, thats what i call them. but the hold for the atv. was kinda out of the blue. and the reason they gave was bs in my mind.

even after making the post , (the hell with paypal) i still find myself forced to use them. simply because everyone has the same reason for not switching, the fear of lost sales.

its going to take a united effort on sellers part to get rid of paypal alltogether.but idoubt that will happen any time soon.

I do hear a lot of people saying that they are still using PayPal out of fear of loosing sales, but I'm wondering if the fear is completely unfounded.

I haven't heard of anyone who has just dropped PayPal all together to see if their sales have been effected, but I suspect that if you market another payment option to customers effectively, they'll take it without too many issues.

Hey guys, Not to bring the devil himself JIMMY up again but if you look at his listings he has been using only Moneybookers for a while now and seems that he doesn't have any problems just using that service. I do recall him saying in the past that he had to sue paypal and then couldn't open an account with them but I may start to run just a few listings with just Paymate and see what happens.
