Question about sales taxes

Hi everyone!

I am trying to start my own company. One thing I can't get a hold for help is sales tax. How do I give my sales tax to the government? Anyone knows? Do you have to fill out a specific form? How often do you do it?

Hi iamdog,

Where are you based? Sales tax is local tax collected by most US states and some Canadian states. If you are based elsewhere, you don't need to worry about it.

If you tell me what State you live in, I can locate full instructions for you on how to get a sales tax ID and how to make payments :)

Thanks I live in IL. I already have a tax ID it's just I don't know how to make the payment

Looks like you can pay over the telephone, by Direct Pay or EFT.
