G'day All, I am brand new to drop shipping. I have undergone some training so understand the basic concepts. I am based in Australia and have an eBay.au account. The training I'm following requires me to post in the US on eBay.com

Now when I do so eBay tells me"NOT ALLOWED TO SELL INTERNATIONALLY"

Once again, no problem I understand.

I would appreciate advice from anyone who has already been through this experience on how best to overcome this hurdle - that's all I see it as and many of you will have already done so.

Perhaps would be best to PM each other first and then maybe set up Skype chat or call to discuss.in detail.

Regards and God bless
Rob Forbes

Hi Rob,

Couple of things confuse me about this one. Can you just clarify why your training requires you to only sell on eBay US and can you tell me how the message is delivered to you. I mean is it emails, is it displayed during the attempt to list a product or how?

Cheers

Howdy Marc. Thanks for your prompt response.

1. The training is to do with drop shipping from Amazon and therefore advises to make use of their free shipping if over $35.00. It is initially focused on working within the USA and will branch out later on as progress is made.

2.The notices I get are on the last step of actually listing an item on eBay.com I was told to ignore it and to continue listing. When I try this however the page wont go any further than the "notice itself" I"ve tried clearing cookies and even turning cookies off and on etc

3. I realize that I can't just ignore it and that I will have to comply. That is the advice I'm after....the best and quickest method of compliance. eg Good Aussie drop ship suppliers, suggested products within Aus. and any other info to facilitate building some ratings with eBay,au so that they will later allow me to use eBay.com

Hope this clarifies the problem and why I was asking for someone who has already overcome a similar problem.

Look forward to your reply.
Thank you
Rob Forbes

Hi Rob,

I'm really not sure what is happening there to be honest. You should be able to simply login into eBay US with your Australian ID and post a listing. It's been a while since I did one, but I've never had an issue. I think eBay support will be your best bet to work through this one mate, so my suggestion is to jump on their online support and see if they can shed some light on what and why for you.

Sorry I couldn't be more help mate, but I just have no clue personally.

All good Marc. Thanks for your help. I'll take the matter up with eBay.

Rob.

Cheers Rob, I'm sure the support there will be able to guide around it. Just use the online live support, if you use email then who knows how long it will be for them to get back to you. Whenever I've had an issue with them, I've always used online support to get it resolved there and then.
