You know I'm a big supporter of developing a business plan from from the very start, it does chart a course for you to follow, and done correctly, it can identify opportunities as well as threats that you will face along the way.

The thing with a business plan is that it is a guide, it doesn't need to be set in stone. The bust business plans have X amount of flexibility built into them so you can make simple adjustments as your business grows.

A recent conversation I have had with a member here as really highlighted this point for me. Sooner or later if you are making a success of your business it will reach a point of critical mass. This is the point where that plan has taken your business as far as it can.

Now if you want your business to grow further, the this is a point at where you need to develop a brand new business plan. This time it is more of a growth expansion plan, assisting you in identifying areas of future growth and processes that need to be put in place to reach those goals.

Having a successful business is no fluke, it's all in the planing. Plan for success, and you are giving yourself the best possible chance at obtaining it : )

Hello There!
Just being straight forward I say that I need to plan a online business of optometry and currently involved since long, also own high street store. Since I live in Asia territory and want to focus my clients in USA, Canada, Australia and so on

Am I able to register my business in Nevada the state (USA) while living in Asia?
What will be the cost of?
I don't know that Is my business is vulnerable to lawsuits?

kindly advice in this context and share your thoughts

I've some thoughts
1) register in Nevada with the help of the respective resident agent
2) open a bank account of my offshore business
3) then linking PayPal registered email to business account
4) consolidate all my client's orders to my distributor usglobalmail.com
5) in turn usglobalmail.com prepare/sort/route to respective customer address.

Your Thoughts Appreciated

Hi s0a0a0z,

Welcome to SaleHoo! Nice to have you with us :)

I'm no expertise on business registration, but according to the sources I read you can register your business in Nevada even if you are a non-US citizen your do not currently live in the said state but you should register as an LLC or limited liability corporation.

You might find this helpful - (sourced from: Link hidden: Login to view)

WHY NEVADA LLC

Nevada has surpassed Delaware in LLC formation. Last year over 40,000 corporations were formed in Nevada and LLCs are gaining grounds as the popular form of corporate entity in Nevada.

Below are a few reasons we think Nevada is one of the best places to set up your LLC:

1) Simple to set up and manage: As your Resident Agent we can set up your Nevada LLC with the information you provide on the one page form while ordering. Minimal paperwork requirement to run the entity.

2) No state tax in Nevada

3) Universal Eligibility: You do not have to be US citizen to form an LLC in Nevada

4) Single member LLCs are allowed

5) Flexibility in location: You can have provisions in your Operating Agreement allowing you to have offices (whether commercial or home-based) outside the state of Nevada. We include it by default

6) Privacy: The state of Nevada does not share information with the IRS.

7) Asset protection: Nevada is one of the toughest states in which to pierce the corporate veil.

8) Corporate Ownership:
A Corporate entity (such as a corporation) can own an LLC unlike in case of an S-Corporation. In fact an LLC can be owned by a corporate entity formed anywhere in the world.

9) Same-Day Creation:
Nevada allows you to set up your LLC same day. We are able to offer you this service because we are located where the Nevada Secretary of State's office is located.

Overall, we think an LLC is a better option for start-ups, online, e-commerce and home-based, small and medium size businesses and for personal privacy purposes.

To read more about registering in Nevada you can search through Google as there are many firms offering services in this area. I have had no previous experience so it would be hard to recommend or suggest which firm to go with.

Hope this helps somehow :)

Hi richelle-salehoo!

you gave me good starting point in research while comparing your given url " Link hidden: Login to view " to the following one "Link hidden: Login to view

It has good popularity figures ranking in 6 according to alexa that is more than www.bycpa.com

Well kindly give a review about it on following bottom lines

1) Delaware Corporation and LLC Formation
2) US Office Address and Mail Forwarding Account
3) US Corporate Bank Account Options

Kindly, if you reluctant to reply then forward to any of your member who has expertise on this touchy subject

Thank you for every thing
Saaz

Hi All,

A business plan is the most important thing you can compile, as it is a picture of words of about you. A business plan represents where you are at present, where you would like to be and the realistic journey you will need to take to get there. The most honest you are with yourself and your effort in the layout of your plan will mean the easier it will be to accomplish.

Here is a good quote to support fudjj post and isn't it the truth

A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.

Colin Powell - US Secretary of Defense

Kind Regards
