Any chance threads could be set to lock after a given period of time with no responses? There's nothing like opening up a page full of "recently updated posts" only to just turn around and close a third of them as they are ancient history being resurrected by post count junkies.

Hi guys,

@Frank: I will gladly pass that on to Dean our head of services and will let you know his thoughts once he provides us his feedback.

@T0pSales: I suggest adding your feature request to our feedback forum where our developers can access it directly for review and consideration - Link hidden: Login to view

Cheers!

Hi Frank,

I just spoke with Dean and he mentioned that as part of our plans to make SaleHoo even better for our members this year, your feedback has been considered for further review.

Cheers!

Thank you Richelle. Thread attrition is a pretty common practice at forums, and as far as I am aware one of its main motivations is to keep people from bumping up irrelevant/dead threads for the sake of having something to say.

You're welcome Frank :) I do agree with you. And sometimes the members in that old thread are no longer a part of SaleHoo..

If I get any updates on this, you'll be first to know!

Cheers
