Hello.. my names Alex. I ve been doing business for lets say.. 6 months... thing were going well untilll I lost ... it all from 'attempting' to do business on tradekey. I figured i shouldnt be worried... But now i sent 3000 to another chinese supplier, knowing that she knew her stuff..her website is Link hidden: Login to view but ... after that I knew I shouldnt but unfortunately it was during the weeekend and she is never on on weekends, therefore the payment verified... and so since there was no evidence of buying from this girl ' Lily' As so. She told me to send it to this Han Yu Person, and as I checked I realized that it has nothing to do with any of their business.. so i am pretty scared. My payment has verified, and ive thrown out a dispute. I asked her to send me back my money, but she said i have to cancel the dispute first. Im still debating about this.. towards my self... because... If i lose this 3000, this certainly wil lbe the end of my business.

Can any one give me suggestions on what to do?
And is Liquidaiton.com
or Liquidationtime.com

Safe?
I mean i read the forums in and out.
But Just wanted to know how safe these items are
Memory sticks
Apple Ipod touches
Playstation Portables
Xbox 360s.

Please guys... I joined this sight for a reason.. and I need help... please.. help me...

Sincerely..
Alex.

I would be very careful about sending any kind of money to this site.
A 'whois' search shows that they have only been listed for 4 months.

They also use a 'free' email service. This is a red flag. A reputable company would not be using a free email service for contact such as yahoo, hotmail, etc...

In addition just a little bit of researching shows that the owner of this site, also has 30 other sites of the same kind.

These are all warning flags to stay away from...I definately would not close any dispute that might allow me to get my money back. Once you close the dispute,,,you cannot re-open it..

From what you say in your posting, they seem to be transfering money to places it should not be going..Thats another red flag..

In addition, if you read the agreement page on the site,, they don't give refunds, only store credit...

If you paid through paypal I would keep the dispute open and try to get your money back....

Anytime you plan on doing business with any company, especially if they are china company and especially if they are on tradekey,,you should research them out BEFORE you send any money..Always come into this forum and ask if anyone has done business with the company and most likely someone will tell you if the company is safe to deal with or not....

first of DO NOT CANCEL THE DISPUTE.

Once you cancel a dispute with any service, including paypal, you are immediately out the money..you cannot dispute it again and there will be no recovery even through charge back. Canceling the dispute is basically saying 'you were right take my money'

More than likely judging by the research Gulfy, has done..these are mirror sites to take money from you. I have lost $300 trying the same thing as you but luckily I could handle that loss..and as you said $3,000 would ruin your business.

Honestly stay away from trade key for items like the ones you have listed. There is only 2 things that will happen buying those. 1. They are fake and you can't sell them (best case scenario) or 2. They will take your money and you will never hear from them again. (most likely scenario since it is more profitable for them to simply not send you anything, I mean it's not like you will be a repeat buyer if they send you fakes)

Items like ipods, xboxs and playstation 3's are high risk items that people in Africa and China scam literally millions from Americans trying to buy them for 'wholesale'.

I would be very scared. I have dealt with tradekey (China) and have been rip off for over 5,000. I was purchasing Ipods 3rd gen., ipods touch , Iphones, PS3, and other electronics. Everything I received was FAKE!!!!!!Even after they promised me everything was AUTHENIC before hand. Finally after a hundred email of me complaining, the guy told me that ALL electronics and other goods are cheaper in the U.S. compared to China.( Even though most electronics, clothes, shoes, are made in China) SO BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!EVERYTHING CHINA IS TRYING TO SELL ON TRADEKEY ARE FAKES!!!!!!!!!

Hi Yes, i would have to agree with all the above comments. Do Not close the dispute. I also have lost large amounts of money Dealing with companies like Trade key, ECVV, EC21 and Alibaba.com. All companies listed on these website sell fakes or are scam companies. Even the companies with Top ratings such Trust Pass & Gold Members sell fake items. These companies are protected because they pay for the privalegde of Gold member titles. Those titles are not earned through sales of goods or customer service. They promise authentic items and sell fakes & sometimes even deliver an item like an old pair of boots when u have ordered an iphone & when you put a complaint in they specify that you have deliberately made false claim in order to have your money returned. As long as you have received a delivery there is no way of getting your money back. And if you try returning an item they claim that it returned broken or what you returned was not what they sent & you are even out of pocket for the extra return cost of package & no refund. I even had one company tell me that my delivery of goods was in customs and that i had to pay an additional $500 to have them released as the goods were stopped due to a tax on goods issue. And as you would guess after i payed the additional $500, they claimed that the goods were stolen by another company handling the shipment of them. I should have known better! I was scammed from start to finish. My advice is to keep the claim open until you can resolve it and do not submit to any of the companies requests to close it before its resolved & Never, Ever, deal with companies in china that don't have a rating & Feedback system of previous customers that have bought products from that company.

Hi I have imported from china for six months now and one BIG lesson I have learnt is if you buy anything that is either electrical or a labelled product you have an 80% chance of getting ripped off. If you see any documentries or programmes on the replica market in China it is ten times larger than the legitimate items being produced.

In addition alot of companies such as GHD are now moving or have factories in Korea as it is cheaper labour, so there are no guarantees that your original product is getting manufactured in China anyhow.

If you want to get genuine goods use liquidation companies, or shift your business plan to items that are not labelled.

Trade key and alibaba can be good sources to find manufacturers, and I still use them today but I am very aware that these suppliers pay alot of money to be a part of the website, so the website organisers are only looking after them, not us the buyers.
If you are not sure about a supplier I would always do a sample order first buy one or two of your product, if your supplier does not allow this they are obviously not genuine.

Final option is find a agent; this is a person who will source your items for you. But ensure they come with references that check out and references that you can contact. Agents work for a commission, ususally minimum of $50us per order or 3-5% depending on the order. Hong Kong has many agents that are well connected too.

I hope I havent bored you but I feel for you being in this predicament!!
All the best!!

It could be a little late to answer this, but it will always help to know that you should never stop a dispute you have opened. As long as the dispute is open, these companies will work with you. The second part of your concern about Liquidationtime.com and liquidation.com, I have used both and they are good.
However, I found that Liquidationtime is the best as far as disputes and they carry more Brand New items than Liquidation.com but I will rate them as 90% great.

Sorry ALex but I don't have much sympathy for your situation.

You have had similar situations in the past and I and others have told you several times not to deal with overseas 'ASIAN' suppliers or to send money blindly to people.

Yet you still do this!

You have borrowed money from family and lost several thousands of dollars doing the exact same thing.

You shouldn't be in business if you can't learn from your mistakes.

Sorry.

I'd say that'd be an accurate assumption. This is a tricky business at best. Shooting from the hip with shallow pockets will get you killed quickly. I know; I've been shot at and hit a few times :)! Because I never go 'all in' I always seem to come back for more. I'll bet many here have been shot at and hit. I keep learning new things and new people along the way. You have to have thick skin.

yeah where did he go?

I have my suspicion that artpants is in a hideout somewhere with Jimmy, Elvis Presley, Tupac and possibly Osama bin Laden!

If anyone can confirm this that would be fantastic!

Lol thats quite a story you have made up there Fudjj.

With that said I think there is more chance Elvis served you in a restaurant than there is of Jimmy replying to an email!

Sorry he is not with Elvis...Elvis works in Kmart in Melbourne Australia so i'm told. Jimmy last sighted on a beach in Acapulco with three buxom blondes....Osama blew himself up hopefully.
