Hi everyone,

I am a new member. Just to say hi.

As a new member, the big question is what to sell? What is hot out there?

Any tips/advise will be appreciated.

Regards,

Hi findithere, nice to have you with us.

You're right of course, that's one of the most popular questions around, what to sell?

One of the absolute best tips I can give you is that what is hot, may well be not what you want, especially if ebay is your marketplace and especially of Drop Shipping is your supply method!

Hard to compete on ebay in most categories, but the hottest selling item genres are usually swarming with very well resourced sellers, making it near impossible to get into them at all.

Key word in a business like ours is research. you can never do too much of it and when you think you've done enough, that's when it's time to start doing more lol.

It never ends!

Thanks!

I'm also wondering about a post I made which received no reply from your side.

I commented that Salehoo appears to be heavily based on Ebay. Your research Lab is evident of this.

My concern is - what about Amazon? What about people like me who prefer Amazon over Ebay?

How effective is Salehoo for me? How the research lab which is based off of Ebay is going to help me?

I would appreciate your reply.

Thanks

Hello findithere73,

Sorry but I can't seem to find the post you are referring to. Anyway I will do my best to address your concerns :)

You're right about your observation that our site's training resources are more inclined for ebay sellers than for those on Amazon. But still you can use the directory to search for your suppliers and even apply the same or similar techniques being suggested in our training videos/guides when you sell on Amazon.

You can actually use the data from our research labs to help you find leads, the numbers may not exactly or directly be applicable to Amazon, but the product leads for ebay won't be too far from that of Amazon. You can couple this with a simple keyword research on our very own SEO software Link hidden: Login to view

I hope I was able to answer your concerns adequately. Cheers :)
