What to do when eBay removed my auction

Hi Folks.
I found an excellent source for InStylers Rotating hair irons. The place to sell is naturally eBay. I used my suppliers pics and description. eBay had other ideas.

They pulled my auction for intellectual rights violations. I am not suspended. Where do I go from here? What am I suppose to do? This is uncharted territory for me.

Thanks.

Dale

Hi Dale,

With eBay's action to remove your listing, that means the end of your Instyler Rotating Irons on eBay. I would strongly suggest to NOT re-list them on eBay at this point.

But you may want to check if you are selling authentic InStyler products since the reason eBay gave as to why they removed your listing was due to intellectual property rights. If they are authentic and you have proof you can contact eBay. It could have been that a competitor of yours contacted eBay about your listing.

Visiting this link might help - Link hidden: Login to view in finding out more about what happened to your listing and how eBay came to their conclusion which resulted to them removing it.

It is best to find out as much as you can before taking the next action.

Hope this helps! Do update us of your progress and let us know if we can help you any further.

All the best :)

Hello Koroi,

Welcome to SaleHoo! :) Well yes, starting your own website is definitely a good option! But having a few active listings on various ecommerce platforms side by side your website would be even better - That way you can divert traffic from your listings to your website (store) and vice versa.

If you haven't please check out Link hidden: Login to view Hopefully you'll find one of our store plans suitable to your ecommerce needs.

All the best! :)

Hi Richelle

Thank you for your reply to my posts. I've just go one more question to ask. With Salehoo store, are the products already there or do we have to get our own products?

How does it work?

Hi Koroi, I can field that one for you.

The store is an independent store, no products. You can list products in there from what ever suppliers you like, but the store comes empty.

: )

Have you thought about listing on other sites? Although I still sell on eBay, but I also sell on Bonanza.com, boocoo.com and yardsellr.com. There are NO listing fees and a very LOW final sale fees. They also allow you to post up pics and descriptions, you get through your suppliers. I have had so much luck on those sites.

I wish you lots of luck!

Regards,
Yvette

Hi Dale

I believe in having my own store online is the best.
I'm still looking for the right company to sign up with. I have inquiry with some local companies but they need 2 to 3 thousand dollars to set the shop up. The ranking on the internet is not guaranteed.
Volusion is another company, but they are so forceful whereby they con you to sign up straight away.

I'm still looking at Salehoo but there are a few things that are still not very clear with them.

To salehoo, can you please provide some sort of demo, instead of signing us in straight away? I just feel that you are not showing all things about salehoo store.
You said in your advertisement:
"Let me show you how you can be up and running with your own store in under 3 minutes" At least a demo instead of signing up straight away to your plans
Other things like, how do we manage our shopping cart?
How do we go about this and how do we get paid when someone shop?

I have been coned by many companies in the past and I just have that feeling with your online store.
Can you please show some of the websites that signed up with Salehoo store?

Hi koroi,

For a quick overview of the SaleHoo Store you may go to Link hidden: Login to view
and reading our SaleHoo Stores' FAQ section will give you an idea of how things basically go - Link hidden: Login to view

To manage your store you will have an Admin site, where you can add, or edit your product list, set your payment methods and store information among others. :)

In the SaleHoo store, the payment methods that you can enable are the following:

Bank Transfer, Cheque/Money Order, Cash On Delivery and/or PayPal

You can easily set this, once logged in to your SaleHoo Store as admin, by clicking on Settings, Store Settings, then Payment. Click the Tab "enable' for any method that you want to activate.

I will also be sending you thru PM some stores that had been set live.

To learn more and if you wish to purchase the SaleHoo Stores, prices are live and available for purchase here: Link hidden: Login to view

Let us know if you have any further questions. :)

Hi Irene

I have seen that those who gave testimony about salehoo store only mentioned about selling on e bay.
Is salehoo store only effective when you sell through e bay?
I never see any of them displaying their salehoo store website (domain name) for us to see.
Is there a reason?
I run my business website with a big company and we can check out each others website to learn more from in the Forum.

Is salehoo name be included in the name of the store ?

I'm sorry for asking all these questioned. I'm just trying to be sure.

Thank you for the link for the store you send, I've gone through that twice before.

Hello Koroi,

I see that Marc has given you a link to one of our SaleHo Stores -

I will also attempt to address your questions -

Is salehoo store only effective when you sell through e bay?

Our SaleHoo Stores are stand alone websites, so you do not need to sell on eBay using your SaleHoo Stores. Plus our stores are designed from the ground up to be easily optimized for the search engines (like Google) you can start getting free traffic from the beginning.

I never see any of them displaying their salehoo store website (domain name) for us to see. Is there a reason? I run my business website with a big company and we can check out each others website to learn more from in the Forum.

A few member's have shared their store's link on the forum asking for advice. I guess the main reason why many have refrained from advertising on the forum is that only directory approved suppliers can advertise on the forum.

Here are some of our a few stores from some of our beta testers -

Is salehoo name be included in the name of the store ?

No, your store will have it's own domain name of your choice. The only time your store will have a subdomain is in the first few minutes after setting it up (while it’s still in ‘staging’ mode).

Hope this helps :)

Hi Richelle

Thank you so much for your reply.
Those info you provided were good.

Just one more question.
Can we register our domain name with Salehoo?

Those stores you sent me gave me a clear idea about Salehoo stores

Hello Koroi,

I'm glad you found them helpful :) Sorry but you cannot register your domain name with us. You can either register through GoDaddy.com or Namecheap.com or through other online registrars you feel suited to your needs.

Hope this helps!

Merry Christmas :)
