Hey Mods, was just wondering if Aus post do special deals with ebay sellers for cheaper shipping. I heard if you are sending a certain number of items a week, its $4 flat rate. I have bought a particular item, that other sellers are selling, but to sell it, id have to charge $40 minimum with the post, and some are charging $28. I don't see how they can do this and make any money?

I don't know the rates, but Aust post do offer volume pricing. You get the guide from any Aust post office to check details.

Hello general-grievous7,

I think Marc's right about going to your nearest Aus Post office to get the guidelines. I tried searching online but I was not able to find any info on possible volume discounts.

All the best! Let us know how you get on :)

Hi!

In 2010, a partnership between Australia Post and eBay was set to further facilitate online transactions, enabling eBay sellers to organize the packaging, labeling, tracking, pick-up and delivery of goods with the click of their mouse.

The Click and Send service, an online portal through which customers can prepare both their domestic and international parcels for shipment, makes sending items sold through eBay easier.

The service was expected to appeal especially to low-volume online traders who seek a more convenient and reliable way to send their goods.

Hope this helps!
