I sell items drop ship from my website.

Before mid November I had no problems with my sales were delivered from China within 2 weeks. Thereafter it has totally gone on a go slow. Worse still the items are not being updated on the China Post tracking site therefore on the Australia Post site.

I received goods and signed for them (Australia Post from China) and then checked on the Australia Post site and the item still did not show.

Is anybody else experiencing problems. I have only about 4 people complaining to me but wow are they driving me nuts. The suppliers are being quite helpful but dealing with my customers is the hardest. It is not like the information about possible delays was not provided in the delivery section of my site.

So again I ask is anybody else experiencing significant delays on their deliveries from China?

OK, I've just asked a supplier about any possible delays into Australia and his theory is that because a lot of loads Europe outbound are in holding docks it could well be impacting on orders being processed to other countries at the moment.

DHL has just put a hold on business until Jan 4th in the UK I hear, all due to back log needing to be cleared, so his theory may well have some truth to it.

Thanks fudjj. It appears to mainly be the items on China Air Post. Australia Post when rung give conflicting answers from the item is in customs, the items is not in the country, it will take 10 days to deliver.

The dispatching is fine from China - just the delivery and not knowing if the items are in Australia or not.

So, it is not really known what the status is.

hehehehe - thanks for the giggle. Some people (customers) know how to try and do your head in.

Yes i can relate to this problem normaly i can ship items from China to OZ
in around 7 working days but this month items appear to be stuck in wharehouses in China or somewhere and while other orders are being delivered makes it hard to tell customers when to expect delivery when i dont really know where the items really are and trying to expalain to your customers that this is a crazy time of the year is not easy as they all want it now!!!
