Hi, good to see you having a crack at it. ive only been doing this for about two years now, the first lesson i learnt, its not easy. I had visions of swimming in money etc, my first year i earned $15.000, while still keeping down a full time job. I spent hours upon hours product researching, comparing to different auction sites etc vs retail prices......I still do alot of product research as im allways having to find new products to sell as the economic climate change all the time. Im preditcing a real slow down for some aussie and new zealand sellers as the dollar is allmost on par with the U.S dollar which means prices on ebay etc are at times dearer than items in stores. Its also proven shoppers are now excited about the dollar and doing thier own online shopping from the U.S So really by the time you source, buy, ship and list your item, margins on some items wont be worth selling at the moment. But having said that, its a great time to buy from some places. I hope ive helped somewhat, cheers danny

Just a follow up reply, with regard to your importing into the NZ, go to your customs website; here is the link, Link hidden: Login to view, all relevant info you will find, like here maybe, no general license is needed, keep the cost under $1000.00 and pay no duty etc. Read up and you will see all this.
