Berk LLC,
You don't think anyone will actually take this ad seriously do you? You have no contact phone number nor physical address to contact you at. An email address just won't cut it Jack!

True what you say but in their defense they have been around for awhile and I haven't heard anyone being taken by them.

GOod job on trying to weed out the bad but NV is a straight up company.

Hey guys,

To be as respectful as possible I did visit NV website and I saw a lot of those Maxam products and others like Alex Naverre products that are also seem by those other drop shipper companys like BNFUSA and WorldwideMerchandise sites which most of that product is slightly above wholesale prices and that are mostly odd brands and not very known. I use to deal with those drop shippers and I tried to sell there products but they just didn't turn a profit on ebay mostly. I will say though that some of the product that is on NV website is sellable but to be honest this company probably gets their products from those other dropshippers. I could be very much wrong but even the pictures on their site are exactly the same as BNFUSA and Worldwidemerchandise.

Thanks

Jon,
My apologies to Northern Value LLC. I should have searched your pages better.

Here is what I did find out for those interested.

I researched a dozen products this company sells. I compared the wholesale asking price to the price Amazon offered to the masses. Of these products their wholesale price ranged from 100.00 higher than Amazon retail to one item $0.15 lower than Amazon retail.
You do the math.

There are plenty of items that you can make a profit on ebay or other sites selling our products. We are currently selling the Motorcycle Barrel Bag for 12.99 and on ebay is is selling for $15.95 plus 9.95 shipping. There are plenty of other examples. You just need to research them. If you utilize the discount currently available to Salehoo members, it is only $11.04. You could make a 30% margin at this price.

I would say that is a pretty healthy margin for selling on ebay, not purchasing in bulk and having the item dropshipped for no additional fee.. I have also seen this bag selling for as much as $30 on craigs list and other auction websites.

Here is the ebay link to he item I am referencing which ended two days ago.

Please let me know if I can provide any additional information.

The point I'd like to make is why should one have to go through every product to find one or two that one can come up with a margin on. I spent a solid 40 minutes comparing prices. There is no reason I should have to spend that amount of time. I'll tell you what; you look through your site and give me 5 products I can make a 30% margin on and I'll sell them. Who knows maybe we can come up with some kind of long stand relationship that way. I work for an engineering company and work 40-60 hours a week. I don't have time to sift through your site to find the couple items that will make margin.

Sometimes it takes years to find that one product to make a good profit on.Other times it can take 3 months or 5 minutes.Thats just how it rolls.

Maybe it's just me! Maybe I've sold to many used items on line; they seem to be way more profitable than anything new I've found thus far.
Call me spoiled!
I just picked up two more sewing machines today. My cost is $20 US a piece. They will average $60 on ebay. Like I've said before though there are not near enough of them out there to consistently make money on them. Good bicycles are even more rare.

May be I should apologize to this guy again! I just get tired of these wholesalers thinking they are the best thing since sliced bread and then consistently finding their offering selling to the masses for less than offered for wholesale by them.

I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead. This is turning into something that should have been in the rant section!!!

Very wise man Gus, I won't hijack Berks thread, but if people were not just looking for the easy option and spent the time sourcing second hand, they would make a lot more money on sites such as ebay.

I totally agree with your points. I have made a lot of money simply finding the product. Found a bunch of 45s out for garbage and made about 400$ etc. etc.

I haven't used NV but they serve a purpose in filling a store with product.

Many eBay sellers have a thousand plus products in their store. (Volume Selling) A thousand products in a store costs 50$ in listing fees plus 16$ for the store per month. Total of 66$ for the month.

That is a very small cost to have an online presence.

They could carry 100 items from NV a 100 from here and from there.

Selling just 2% at a 3$ per item profit covers the cost.

Then they drive traffic to their store with auctions as loss leaders and get extra sales from the store. They then cultivate their buyers emails and send out promotions.

Not a dis intended here just an example of how some eBayers do it.
