UPDATE AS OF DECEMBER 5, 2007

Hi Guys,

This is the latest update for the iphones and I hope to clear up some confusion about what has been going on.

As of November 9th, 2007, all iphones released after this date were released with firmware 1.1.2. To date this firmware is not able to be unlocked and therefore the phones cannot be used with just any sim card. Both of my current suppliers have officially ran out of stock for the previous release iphones that were firmware 1.1.1. This has been the delay of which I have spoken about. This firmware was able to be unlocked and as a result these phones have become much harder to get which has also driven up the buying prices in turn

In an effort to meet demand I am currently engaging 2 other suppliers in an effort to secure a long term relationship and therefore be able to provide the iphones on a permanent basis. This however is going to take some time.

Therefore at the moment I cannot give an accurate idea of costs for the iphones anymore because negotiations are still in progress. I expect that the costs will be slightly higher than I have first quoted but hopefully not by much. I ask that you please allow me at least a week to try and establish these contacts in order for me to fill your future orders. I realise this has been a frustration situation for all but patience here is the key.

As soon as I have clearer and more accurate information, I will let you all know asap.

Thank you for your time and patience.

Kindest Regards

Lindsay Campbell

Hi guys, there have been some of you that have been waiting for this post so here it finally is.
I have managed to secure a few contacts in the U.S. at this stage, where i can get access to iphones at the cheapest prices that i can possibly find them. Now please everyone bear in mind as the following is important - In the U.S. iphone have taxes associated with them and this must be remembered and considered in regards to the prices.

Members of salehoo can simply purchase through me, iphones at very cheap prices for which they can then decided what they do with them. Whether you want to on sell them or keep them for yourself.

I will note now that this opportunity will be better suited to AU members rather than U.S. only because more profit can be made in selling iphones on the Australian market.

Australian members - iphones can be purchased at $630 AU (this includes costs of getting iphones into Australia, and will also include free express post to your door). These phones will be completely unlocked and ready to use with any sim (except 3G).

NOTE: These are the cheapest prices i have ever seen on iphones here in Australia, that are genuine and unlocked

Although some may not consider this price to be fantastic - bear in mind that iphones in AU sell generally between $720 and $820 on ebay.

Those outside AU, can still purchase these phones, and they will be shipped from my U.S. based supplier. Prices will differ in this case and those interested should contact me, via the post or email on Link hidden: Login to view

As far as an investment group goes - if people are interested in making some money from this opportunity i expect that each member can make around $100 per iphone invested in, perhaps up to $150 depending on how well the market goes towards christmas. If this is a point of interest please message me, but for the moment i simply wanted to give individuals the chance to purchase their own iphones for below ebay market value.

Expressions of interest please post or message. Bear in mind it may take me a little time to get back to you.

Regards

Lindsay

unbelievable price of $300 ea...2 weeks
and still waiting, WOW did I fall for this
scam, so beware....I'm in the process of
trying to get my money back...I'm glad
I used a credit card, at least i Have
a chance of getting it back.

Lindsay the iPhone is $399 directly from Apple with free shipping. Why would I want to pay you $100 more for the same phone?

Wholesale List
Yeah this thread if mainly for AU people. I am about to edit the post to reflect this. Anyone can buy from apple.com for the $399 U.S. but tax on top usually means you will pay around $425. Problem with that is that the phone isnt unlocked.
Apple has also limited sales from the website.
What my goal is, is to offer members in AU the chance to get an iphone cheaper than what is being sold currently on ebay.
The originally U.S. price was for an unlocked phone, however due to a change of circumstances and the lack of market in the U.S. i will not be offering this anymore. Thanks for your interest.

Why 'invest' in it, when one could promote it as an affiliate offer without putting up $400+ per phone and still make a decent commission on sales?

Not knocking you; just don't understand what benefit can be derived from buying them so expensive.

Thats a fair enough point. I actually had not thought of doing it from an affiliate point of view, but that would present a good opportunity for all parties.
Again the main point of this was to offer iphones at reduced prices to interested members. As far as AU goes there is a market there at the moment and the reason i have posted the investment side of things is because i have had offers from some people who want to buy 10 phones.
However the point if noted and affiliate sales is a good idea

Everyone

To take out the $399 price from apple you have to sign up to a 2 year contract with AT&T(read the small print)
Therefore the price from lindsay i think is pretty good. Christmas is coming and this phone will sell quite abit.

Would you dropship these to the UK? Is it also worth my while to do this on ebay?

John - it may be possible to dropship i am not sure as yet. As with all the options it will depend largely on the supplier and the availability to dropship through them. I am still in negotiations at this stage. Ill update as soon as i have a definitive answer.
