Hey I thought I would share this with anyone that currently uses Auctiva. If you haven't already heard Vendio.com is offering a special for all current Auctiva customers- you get to use all the same services you would with auctiva for FREE! for the rest of 2009. Starting 2010 its $10/mo-I think. Inkfrog is another that offers $9 and change a month but I don't think they are doing the free deal.

Hi There,

Here's a recent update for all Auctiva users..

'Auctiva founder and CEO Jeff Schlicht sent an email to customers on Tuesday night to apologize for the 'frustration and anxiety' the company's new pricing plan had caused them, and announcing new pricing options. There are two new flat-rate plans, one for $9.95 a month, and a special $2.95/month plan for casual sellers. Auctiva's free marketing tools remain available. '

Auctiva is threatening all members to pay up or they will delete all of our hard work. At the same time they are(Ironically) pitching us this what seems to be more like a ransom for our pictures instead of a business offer. That

I had posted a few things on another topic about having trouble with the checkout. Apparently if you decide to close your auctiva account, you better make sure you disable the checkout way before you close your account because if not all your customers will not be able to successfully checkout for items and you will need to rejoin with Auctiva like I just did. I am starting to think that ebay has some form of ownership or stakes with Auctiva and pushing them to change their whole business plan around.
