Ok can someone explain this to me. When I started selling on ebay in 98 I never knew in 10 years I would need a photography degee to keep on the cutting edge. I like how people display clothing and the just have the image to stand out. At first I thought white background...when i figured that didnt work...i figured people were using green screens. But i saw a post about backlighting somewhere and thats how the image stands out. Is there a simplier way than green screen?

An easy way is to simply build a 'shadow box'. This way the light is evenly distributed throughout the whole area and makes the product stand out. For clothing items, most use a standing shadow box and use a dark shield for light colors and a light (white) shield for dark colors...A shield is simply the covering enclosure..Too, it helps to use a clothing manican to drape the item around. You can pick up clothing manicans fairly cheaply,( the ones that have no arms, legs or heads..
