Hi....I've finally come across an idea I want to run with! I was going to go with a turnkey so that I could also add my own products, but then I looked up turnkey on here and everyone seems to be against that idea. I was wondering if someone can tell me what the best (and cheapest) way is for me to have my own website? Personally I know nothing about making my own website. I also can't afford a lot of money to spend on it unfortunately.

Any comments would be appreciated!

Thanks

Shane

Take a look at Zencart.com, completely free e-commerce platforms, very easy to understand admin to set-up your shop, and there are plenty of template options to skin it.

You can check out templatemonster for those, but they are quite easy to find elsewhere if you prefer.

Zencart also has a handy little forum where you can get good assistance, and even find developers who can set the site up for you and make some custom alterations if required.

You will also find plenty of free mods to add on to your program on the site as well, so well worth a look if you're going down the path of an independent website platform.

Hi there,

Cheapest and best way is go through godaddy.com - with their deluxe hosting for 6.99/mon (84/yr), a domain name for 9.99 (looking for coupon on google), SSL certificate for 29.99/year. You can have your site up and running within 24 hours with Zencart.

I have my site with them: here the demo Link hidden: Login to view
