It's been documented that CL is overtaking the eBay monster... so if you want to get on the gravy train, you need to be at platform Craigslist. :D

Post, post and post some more... I found a guy who was using my tactics but offered a service to me to post and I only pay for posts that stick... only 10c each post.

To give you some idea it was taking me between 1-2 hours per day, to post 100 ads, now it only costs me $10! I've been doing this for the past 2 weeks and my sales have increased from an average of 23 sales per day to 39 per day - 7 days per week. For a $19.99 product ($19.89 is profit...)

Actually it doesn't matter, As eBay owns stock in craigslist!

But much safer to do face to face business and get paid asap and no chargeback fraud like eBay.

I presume you're referring to the mastering of Multi posting on CL? :?:

I did an interview on CL for salerhoo, it's on the site somewhere.

I sell information products ranging from $9.99 to $97, but my best seller is $19.99, so much so, I launched it and overnight (UK time) the server had soooo many hits, it went down.....my ISP wanted to know what I'd done to get so much traffic in a few hours.

I can definately see craigslist growing much bigger in the next year. And you will see many small buisnesses jumping into CL very soon. I am considering moving over 2,000 items myself to craigslist.

How do you use craigslist if you want to ship items throughout United States or even Canada? Let say electronics for example? I mean I did have some transactions locally but what if you have interested buyers that live faraway? What payment should you accept? And how can you link your preferred payments into your ad? I don't want to use paypal so I am thinking on signing up with merchantinc. Any inputs will be appreciated =)

Im not totally positive on this matter. But there may be an option to place and ad over more then just your local municipality. As far as taking payments Get a merchant account and you can take the order over the phone. I havent versed myself totally on craigslist yet. Ive only placed a couple ads myself. Been so busy lately with ebay and a big project for salehoo I havent had alot of time myself to research this more yet.

One definate thing Im heavily cosidering. I can easily sell my items well below ebays prices but some items are going ridicoulously low. If its possible to sell these items on CL and make what I want to get out of them I may put many items off the next 48 pallets I get in the next few days

As a 'new boy/nipper/puppy' to Salehoo I find the info on Craiglist interesting. Although I am an Ebayer buyer/seller, it is good to know of other auction type sites. Another one Salehoo members may be interested is OZtion (Link hidden: Login to view). Keep the info coming please!!! :D

What do you think about the info about Ebay/Paypal holding your funds for 21 days?

The easiest thing for me is information products, as it doesn't matter where I am.
