Hi, just wondering if you need a paypal account to sell on Bonanza? What if your paypal account is limited? How do you go abouts selling then?

Hi sales-v,

I believe you can use Google Checkout and Amazon checkout to accept payments on Bonanza.

I don't know if you need a PayPal account to actually set up an account.

Are you new to Bonanza? It's a really cool marketplace.

There is a very active community there so you can get a lot of support from fellow sellers as well as their support staff.

I sold items on Bonanza a few months back and I loved using the site.

All the best!

Hi sales-v,

Yes, you may enable your Paypal account at Bonanza Link hidden: Login to view

It is also using PayPal Express Checkout where the final transaction steps of the checkout process, and takes place on Bonanza.com and not on PayPal

And from what Marc and Alice have shared you may also use Google Checkout, Money Order and Checkout by Amazon. :)

Hi v-sales,

I browsed through some of the listings on Bonanza and a few of them don't offer PayPal. Since I have an account on Bonanza, I tried listing an item and I was able to un-tick PayPal as a payment option and only offer Google Checkout.

When you are setting up your account under the "Seller Settings" tab, you will be asked to give your PayPal email address but to the right of that there is a note that reads

If you don't want to accept Paypal click here and update your booth payment types to not include Paypal.

Hope this helps :)

And you may want to examine your Paypal account's limitations, probably consider if it can be used at Bonanza, since a lot of buyers online are after it's "Buyer Protection Program". :) I actually get inquiries of this type that I had to add Paypal to my Bonanza. :)

Thanks guys for the help and all the links. I'll definitely try them out. =)

And alice-salehoo - yep, am new to bonanza and also on salehoo. Just joined about a week ago and still slowly navigating my way around - just trying to find good suppliers for my new website. =)
